Does DZ buds progressed with curing to something nicer than soapy smells?


After you told me its soapy i gived those seeds to friend... anyway have from
Bodhi now Old School Hashplant,real indy stinkers,then also have Jungle Spice,
Landos Stash,Oroblanco,Acapulco Gold... from CBG Mextizas and from private
breeder a Headbangers F2..

Old School Hashplant stink best from polyhybrids,real strong indy stench..
then those Jungle Spice have also very interesting strong smell,

Acapulco Gold have one pheno that reminds me on a smell of a hospital.. wicked..

Nah, still getting those sweet & soapy smells on the pheno I kept. I like everything about the line except that terp profile. The terp profile isn't bad at all, just not what I'm looking for. I'm hoping that hitting the Dank Zappa with my Star Dawg IX male will change the terp profile at least but keep all the other good characteristics. Regardless, I hit my Dank Zappa with my SDIX male and also my SDIX female with the DZ pollen so it will be interesting to run the two and compare the differences.

I slept on that Old School Hashplant after almost picking it up. I'll probably jump on a pack after hearing your description of them. Thanks!

Old School Hashplant is best stinkers in a group between
Oroblanco,Jungle Spice,Lando Stash,Mextiza and Headbanger..

talking about rubbing petiole of a leaf and a bit of stalk..,
Jungle Spice and then Oroblanco have also interesting smells
but not so strong as OSH.


Thank you for giving me tip on soapy terps for DZ.. must addmit
i hate those terps as one time i get a plant that smelled on detergent Ariel.. what a gross thing to inhale this smoke..

if that was a only type of buds i can purchase i will stop smoking
instantly for sure and never ever start again,so ugly terps.

here,s my black lime f3#3 x headgear f2 ...... testing her out see if she will get run this season . i did pollinate it also with the white s1 x white fire

this seasons pic of the black limes was a f3#2 ....picked her from a bunch and pollinated her with all sorts of goodness , even made black lime fem seed with her . each branch was given to different male for seed . not the easiest task ....but can be done .vigour was outstanding took off like a crack addict with your mobile phone .

last for today , blueberry blast .....only ended up with 2 plants all others were heavily mutated and runts , the two females were used for seed there terps is crazy .looking forward to these as blueberry like this would normally mold here ....so hit her with bunch mold resistant gear and see how they go .

starting a bubba kush project within a month or two. F2 gen of Katsu Bubba Kush regular male/female seeds i got from an old head, getting open pollinated for F3's and hitting 93, 98, and Katsu Bubba clones. i'll knock up a couple other plants too just for fun -- White Master Kush, Sour Dubb S1, FPOG Cereal, 93 Bubba x XMas Bud, whatever else I have going at the time, ect. .

its kind of confusing but ill try and explain it lol


93 is a fake name that sort of stuck for the cut Nspecta uses. AKA Original Bubba.
It's the same cut Shabud sourced pre-2k and is the real pre98 but its also the 93/Original Bubba. Named pre98 by ThaDocta

The Swerve sourced pre98 Bubba was apparently an S1 that he gave the same name (pre98) as Shabud's cut which caused confusion.

Lol in other words all legit sourced 93/Original Bubba is pre98 Bubba but not all pre98 Bubba is 93/Original Bubba.

back around 2006 Swerve sourced his first Bubba Kush cut...even though he had been smoking it for years. when he, and others, grew it out it was obvious it wasn't legit...a bunch of us called him out on it but it was too late...he didn't listen and just ran with it...within a year or two 99% of the "Pre 98" cuts in circulation could be sourced back to Swerve. To clarify...there's nothing wrong with Swerve's Bubba if you just want some kind Bubba nugs to grow and smoke. It only matters for breeding purposes as his cut does not produce the same spectrum of progeny that the original cut does.

confused yet? this is just like og and chem origins.... very very hazy info. Nspecta is the man to talk to about Bubba though. I think he's doing/did The Pot Cast recently, hopefully someone asked him to clarify the Bubba stories.

I've a few males this season...
VGs C4DD, not sure if I'll use him.

Relentless 818FireOG, he's going to hit my WiFi cut as well as make F2s w 2 818FOG females. Possibly hit Bubba as well as GG4.

Top Dawg Star Cookies (x2) will hit Chimera Cookies S1s as well as make F2s & hit GG4.

Bodhi More Cowbell (x2) will also hit Chimera Cookies S1 & make F2s.

Lastly I have 2 Bubba Berry F2 (Pre98 Bubba Kush x Sugarberry) that I'm going to cross back to Pre98 Bubba Kush as well as make F3s. I'm also going to hit Peyote Purple with these studs to mix Pre 98 with the Katsu hybrids just to see what comes of them.

These will keep me busy all summer long & hopefully keep an few friends in some excellent cultivars.

I ended up only using the Star Cooks & 818 males.
One of the More Cowbell females went bonkers & the top was completely covered in nuts so I decidednot to use the males either. I don't want to sort that mess out in the future.
C4DD got tossed because I've got more beans still.
Bubba Berry F2 males weren't used because 2 of the 4 females are crap phenos & I'd like a better opportunity to go through a bunch of males so I can observe their characteristics previous to making a final choice. This might become a winter run, just to see what pops up.

The bubba I hit w the 818 pollen has been hit pretty hard by the weather this week as well. On Sunday we got hit by a killer hail storm & Monday i found this bubba lying on the ground when I went to water her. I propped her up, staked her then taped up the wound. Then yesterday we got hit by a fairly heavy (for here) rain storm & the branch I pollinated was lying in the container this morning when I went & looked. The branch is hanging on so I propped it up for now. I'll attempt a repair & support after it dries out.

i already see 2 pheno types on my strain from last year. leaves on some plants have all purple stems and some have all green stems.some have pink hairs and some have all white hairs.
