That is why you always want to go for a trial by jury and not a judge. Judges know the laws better than any jury will ever know. Your odds of acquittal are greater with a jury

Rittenhouse has a strong self-defense claim under Wisconsin law, legal experts say https://www.foxnews.com/us/legal-exp...-wisconsin-law

Quote from the article: Self-defense can't be invoked by someone if they were an aggressor.

Pointing your rifle at people is a clear act of aggression. His first victim repeatedly asked Rittenhouse to stop pointing his gun at them. Rittenhouse continued to point his gun at them anyways. That act of aggression was the start of this fiasco.

You just can kill anyone that is not threatening you to the point you feel your life is in danger. Even then proving this can be difficult. All states go by this. He will be convicted of something.

The start of the fiasco was the clear act of aggression, 'The Victim' pointing his weapon (the burning dumpster) at the gas station and pointing your rifle at peeps is a clear sign that you will protect yourself if attacted!

Property damage doesn't allow people to shoot. Most states use this
The use of force is only justifiable if it is immediately necessary to stop a threat to one's self.

Anti-fascists are of the opinion that violence against their political opponents is ”always self-defence”. They also believe that their victims have no right to defend themselves. I think Rittenhouse handled himself in an exemplary manner and that the anti-fascists who attacked him got exactly what they deserved.

Property damage doesn't allow people to shoot. ........... [/B]

lol, it woulda been a lot more than 'property damage' if Rittenhouse had allowed 'The Victim' to make it alla the way to the gas station with the burning dumpster weapon of mass destruction. :smoky:

.......... why would anyone want to even try to minimize/rationalize away this uncomfortable FACT? :dunno:

Anti fascists attack fascists. Violence against fascists is justified.
