At a state convention in Houston, nearly 5,000 Texas GOP delegates on Saturday "overwhelmingly passed a resolution questioning the 2020 election. "We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected," the resolution says. The Platform Committee's final report has a "State Sovereignty" section declaring: "Texas retains the right to secede from the United States."
Reality check: "No, Texas can't legally secede from the U.S.," The Texas Tribune notes. I hope the fine people of TX see what's going on and vote to change such behaviors. This will not end well. Its gonna get a whole lot worse with people like this holding any power. The next generations are gonna have a difficult time with the GOV of the USA.

If they could some how get the other 49 states to OK their secession, I'd be ok with them seceding. Then no more federal disaster relief funds. No more subsidized energy, No more military bases. And more importantly, the GOP will never again win a national election.
You would need to be a complete idiot to not see that Trump caused a coup in 2020. He broke numerous laws in that attempt.

At this point in time I'm inclined to think if the DOJ somehow manages to decide not to prosecute 45, that Georgia will. Prosecutors love audio recordings where everyone identifies themselves and then reveal the felony they are currently committing.

It's not just Trump that's guilty.. He wouldn't have gotten as far as he did without all those boot lickers doing his bidding. 2024 will be a more challenging test of our democracy. There are still fascists in power.

People become politicians because they think they're better than you and I, they're richer, they have more privilege, it's not about left vs. right, right vs. wrong. It's about them vs. us and we never win, what in history ever makes you think any different? Hitler killed himself, Stalin died from a stroke, George Bush died of natural causes, Genghis Khan is celebrated these days, Martin Luther King was murdered, JFK was murdered.
