yes, they were. quite a few were delivered to the national archives in pieces, not yet taped back together. many were also sent to the Pentagon in "burn bags" to be destroyed as well. your understanding of and grasp on reality is skimpy at best, if not downright nonexistent.

it's not as if they are in lockstep on much. they need votes from nominally intelligent folks from the other side to get much accomplished, like Murkowski & Manchin do sometimes. both are hated by the extremists in their own parties, yet succeed at times to compromise on things like the infrastructure bill just passed. i'd vote for Murkowski as POTUS if she ran. Different than what. Another article I read says they routinely has to retrieve paperwork from the trash and tape back together.

I would assume he threw away anything that made him look stupid or guilty.
