The small 180-watt garden is only 90 watts now and winding down. This closet grow is almost finished, at 60 days. The fat bud started fox-tailing close to the light. Both plants would have done much better if I had topped it early in veg. You can see the imbalance in the bud ratio between the main stem and secondary limbs on both plants.

I wanted to share a tip on growing new sprouts. Using a shop light on a shelf, I can add a foil cover to catch the heat and allow the tiny plants to grow in a warmer environment. I have a 4-inch small fan at the end blowing a mild breeze over the tiny plants so they can transpire water. The temps are between 72f or 22C and 82f or 26C and down in the 60s at night.

Times up for my little 180-watt closest grow. It was flipped earlier than the others to help with overcrowding. They are at 65 or more days of flowering, and I need some medicine. My medicine jars are empty. These are the last photos of this grow.

I'm surprised at how dense these buds are from the little 180-watt grow. These dense strains need to be harvested at 60 days, harvesting later will lead to bud rot. When dense buds are harvested it's vital to remove all the buds off the main stem quickly and not leave them hanging on a string. Leaving the buds on a big stem just for a few minutes can harm the weed. Clean the big colas quickly.

Not bad for $1 dollar seeds. Harvested.

Counting down the days to harvest the main garden. I'm at 62 days after the flip and only giving the plants pure rainwater without nutrients now, 14 ppm. I have reduced the amount of water to only 1\3 now. I screwed this garden up by not monitoring the pH close enough and being lazy. My apologies to everyone looking at this thread.

Using the two potting mixes together will boost the C.E.C. “Cation Exchange Capacity” and should give me the hydro effect. When I say the hydro effect I'm only using a small ppm or low EC and getting big results because of the CEC boost. My nutrient fertilizer is only 110 ppm and mixed with cal mag is around 300 ppm total. When the plants go into their final pot I use the final light.

Hey Creeper. Mixing two mediums doesn't increase the CEC. The CEC will be the average of the 2 mediums. At least until microbes do their job breaking down stuff increasing the overall CEC. And I'm not sure what hydro effect means, but I like reading your posts so don't take this the wrong way. Just thought of a few things looking at a bit of this thread that might help.

Is there a reason you're not using tap water? Is it really hard?

And if you really want to make your life easier I would use the GH with Coco. And use dry organic amendments with the FFOF.

GH with Coco is the Hydro effect, :D
