Last I heard was that the US intelligence agencies were divided on the origins of the virus and Biden was asking for an intelligence report.
I am happy to follow available science and will accept it IF it changes. Currently the only evidence has been the WHO excursion, which I think concluded that it was likely natural, but did not discount the possiblility of a leak.
Many experts are still saying that this occured naturally, including the majority of US intelligence, which is being reported as divided on the topic. I think I heard yesterday it was roughly 2/3 in favour of natural occurence but I could be wrong.

A virus functions to replicate itself. There have been natural viruses and transmissible illness throughout history, long before labs, or China. Many natural viruses cross from animals to humans. Swine flu is a recent example.
If it is a biological weapon it is a big fail. It mostly is harmful to the elderly and frail. Surely a biological weapon would target young and healthy, of a fighting age.

Dr. Fauci Admits To Funding Bat Virus Research At Wuhan Lab, Says NIH Funneled $600K Over 5 Years

While appearing before a congressional budget committee, Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed and defended what he called the “modest” and “very respectful” funding of an infamous Wuhan laboratory. In a house testimony Tuesday, he admitted that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) funneled U.S. taxpayer money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Dr. Fauci said at least $600,000 was sent to the lab through the non-profit called EcoHealth Alliance. The NIH director confirmed the money was given to the Chinese lab over a five-year period to study bat coronaviruses and whether they could infect humans.
“Well the underlying reason for that is that we had a big scare with SARS-CoV-1 back in 2001-2003, where that particular virus unquestionably went from a bat to an intermediate host to start and epidemic, a pandemic, that resulted in 8,000 cases and close to 800 deaths,” he stated. “It almost would have been a dereliction of duty if we didn’t study this and the only way you can study this thing is you gotta go where the action is.”
However, the doctor denied the funds were used for “gain of function” research, which is a term used to describe medical research that alters an organism or disease in a way that increases pathogenesis, transmissibility or host range. This came after Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said “gain of function” was the primary effort of Wuhan scientists.
“About $800,000 was allocated and about $600,000 was spent over a five-year period, no more than that,” Dr. Fauci explained. “That comes to anywhere between $125,000 to $150,000 per year that went into collaboration with Wuhan.”
Earlier this month, the NIH director told Sen. Paul that the agency did not provide any funding to the Wuhan lab. Dr. Fauci’s latest confessions are now sparking calls to arrest him for lying under oath.
Meanwhile, as new evidence emerges backing the COVID-19 lab-leak theory, experts have suggested the virus could have been given to the Wuhan lab by the Chinese military.
On Tuesday, bioweapons expert Dr. Lawrence Sellin said the People’s Liberation Army sent the virus to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in early 2019. While citing Chinese sources, he said the virus then underwent testing on large primates.
Dr. Sellin claimed the military unit that provided the virus for testing is the same entity that worked with bat coronaviruses in the past. He added, COVID-19 may be part of the Chinese bioweapons program.
“They were beginning to document it in their military documents that this was one viable option either in a pre-war or warfare scenario and all that information is actually out on the internet right now, in terms of what the People’s Liberation Army has been saying about the use of biological weapons,” he explained. “They specifically talk about conditions before and during a war, so they look at it in both aspects.”
This comes just days after a U.S. Intelligence report revealed three Wuhan lab workers were hospitalized in November 2019 with coronavirus symptoms. This evidence reignited the theory that coronavirus originated at a Wuhan lab and was leaked to the public.

Canadian corona scientist suddenly dies, link with the Netherlands
There is much more to the current coronavirus than we are officially told and the first murder is on its way.
The Chinese have stolen the coronavirus from Canadian scientist Frank Plummer who suddenly drops dead and who collaborated with the Dutch poisoners and bag fillers Ab Osterhaus and Ron Fouchier.
Actually, you can use the rule of thumb that with every large-scale crime, wherever, Dutch people always turn up. And the big coronavirus crime story is no different.
We have already shown in previous articles that the current highly contagious coronavirus is a bioweapon. A genetically modified virus, which even contains particles of the HIV virus and which scientists have unequivocally determined that it has been tampered with artificially.
In July 2019, a number of Chinese were caught stealing a coronavirus in a Canadian level 4 laboratory in Winnipeg, led by scientist Frank Plummer. (level 4 laboratory is a lab where the most dangerous types of deadly viruses are used).
Just as there is a level 4 laboratory in Winnipeg, there is also one in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the genetically manipulated corona virus suddenly appears in mid-December. According to an article on Zerohedge, it is established that the stolen virus from Winnipeg ended up in the Wuhan laboratory.
However, now it is reported that Canadian scientist Frank Plummer suddenly fell dead in Africa where he was for a conference.
67-year-old Frank Plummer was in Kenya giving a speech at the University of Nairobi when he suddenly fell dead . Nothing further has been released about the cause of death, which of course makes this a very suspicious death given the bizarre connections with the bioweapon corona.
But, it gets even weirder. Because the conscious virus that was stolen by the Chinese came from none other than the Dutch poison mixers and bag fillers, Ab Osterhaus and Ron Fouchier.

However, now it is reported that Canadian scientist Frank Plummer suddenly fell dead in Africa where he was for a conference.
67-year-old Frank Plummer was in Kenya giving a speech at the University of Nairobi when he suddenly fell dead . Nothing further has been released about the cause of death, which of course makes this a very suspicious death given the bizarre connections with the bioweapon corona.

so does this clear Fauci? How convenient, and timely ... blame it on the dead guy.
bring it on, bring me logical explanations for all the known facts that show the chain from bat to human and ill happily accept it. i asked from the beginning for people to show me the best explanations and the best articles explaining how this covid is a natural occurrence. im still happy to read the evidence. but so far the natural coincidence side hasn't found a shred of proof to back it up, while a huge chain of circumstantial evidence points right at the lab leak of a man made corona bat virus being the most plausible explanation.
so yeah if the cia just comes out and say, nah mate, naahhh, not a lab leak mate, trust us. i won't be convinced. but if a logical study is presented that explains the known facts to the origins being of pure natural coincidence, ill accept it. ill be really happy not to have to live with the knowledge that all this was the result of a man made virus. thats a horrible way for humanity to end our way of life as we knew it before the virus. imagine that, humans fucked them selves up the ass on a planetary level, who wants that to be true? not me, please find me a better explanation.

Chris Martenson explained it as clearly as it could be explained, about a year ago.
it is man-made and part of the explanation involves something called a PRRA cleavage site.
I had to listen to the related webcasts several times to begin to get the science.
