You know, you can skip the sarcasm every now and again, as not everyone is laughing with you. Your a mod, behave like one!

Perhaps a Mod Dress Code would eliminate the sarcasm.

The mod, or modern, subculture gained popularity in the 1960s in London, England. Early influences include jazz music and European art films, and many mods rode Vespa or Lambretta scooters. Dressing like a mod means wearing stylish and tailored clothing in bold prints, bright colors, and black and white. Men wore tailored suits, polos, and slim-fitting pants, while women wore mini-skirts, twin-sets, fitted pants, and shift dresses.

poor kids can’t go to the movies . Once there were no movies. What did kids do?

They played outside, got good food if their parents could affort it and got immunity.Strong genes were made by then.Nowadays they get only jabs and most of the time they"re sitting behind their laptop, playing games and eat GMO laced food.

USA - "Since May 2021, people living in counties that voted heavily for Donald Trump during the last presidential election have been nearly three times as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who live in areas that went for now-President Biden. That's according to a new analysis by NPR that examines how political polarization and misinformation are driving a significant share of the deaths in the pandemic.

NPR looked at deaths per 100,000 people in roughly 3,000 counties across the U.S. from May 2021, the point at which vaccinations widely became available. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.78 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates."

https://www.npr.org/sections/health-...=1638883225890

------------------------------------

UK - "A marked statistical link between the proportion of people who voted Remain in the 2016 Brexit referendum, and lower Covid-19 death and infection rates in England, has been uncovered by new research from Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School.

Data assessed by Professor Ludovic Phalippou (Oxford Saïd) and Dr Betty Wu (Adam Smith Business School) shows districts that voted most in favour of remaining in the European Union have:
  • a death rate that is one third lower
  • an infection rate that is one quarter lower
  • and a vaccination rate that is higher, than districts with the least Remainers."
‘There may be a cultural divide between groups of people who accept and those who reject, the advice of experts, be that on Brexit, non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) such as wearing masks, or on vaccines. Our results suggest a need for designing incentive schemes that account for different cultures and belief systems. Scientific prowess - such as finding an effective vaccine – may not be sufficient to solve this crisis.’

Participation in Speaker's Corner is 100% optional.

Why would anybody go into a bar that they don't like ?

Is it a Rubber-necking effect - they want to see a cat fight or something ?

That's an excuse. Doesn't matter when people cant discuss shit civilly. Comparing a bar to an international forum is apples and oranges mate. AS for anything political is seems 99.9% of that is all about the USA, even from those that don't live here. I'd think they would care more about their own fucked up gov.

If their parents could grow it. If we’re smart. We may come to that point again.

It's not what you think. The least amount of grey matter the more likely to have easy binding/infiltration of the ACE-2 receptors.

Just for those who think this might actually be real.

New Zealand billboard promoting ‘Christmas booster’ shots is fake
CLAIM: A Labour Party billboard in New Zealand features Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern’s photo alongside the text: “Remember to book your Christmas booster! Each booster gives you up to six months worth of freedoms!*” The fine print says: “*Freedoms not available in all areas and are subject to change.”

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. This billboard does not exist. A photo taken in August 2020 of a different billboard has been manipulated to add the text. The unedited image shows the original billboard with Ardern’s photo alongside the Labour Party’s campaign slogan: “Let’s keep moving,” ahead of the country’s general election.

THE FACTS: Social media users are sharing an altered photo of a Labour Party billboard in New Zealand to falsely suggest it includes a confusing message promoting COVID-19 vaccination ahead of the holidays.

The doctored photo shows a billboard with the message: “Remember to book your Christmas booster! Each booster gives you up to six months worth of freedoms!*” The fine print with the asterisk says: “Freedoms not available in all areas and are subject to change.” And another snippet of text states: “No Jab. No Job. No refunds.”

One Twitter user shared the fake photo with the claim: “Actual billboard going up in NZ. No words.” Another since-deleted tweet shared the altered image alongside the comment: “Connecting the words Christmas and booster is nothing short of sacrilege.”

The real advertisement was part of the Labour Party’s election campaign effort in 2020, not an initiative to encourage coronavirus vaccine boosters.

The altered photo showed signs of manipulation, including blurry text and discoloration. The original photo, archived online by Shutterstock, is clearer. It shows the billboard in Auckland, New Zealand, on August 8, 2020, with the party’s election slogan: “Let’s keep moving.”

The Labour Party and Ardern had not responded to an email requesting comment at the time of publication.

I knew that someone will come up that it is fake, although the person who did this joke might had a crystal ball, because it is daily practice in several countries now.People jabbed with the J&J shot can't go to Austria for a ski holiday if they don't get their booster shot.In Austria it's now so far that residents will end up with a €3600 fine or 1 year of jail if they can't pay it when you don't let you jabbed and people who are jabbed twice and won't get their booster shot before Feb 1st 2022, will get a fine of €1500.In Germany there will be a jab mandatory from Feb 1st 2022.In Indonesia there is already a mandatory for 200 million people.More countries will follow, because it's the only way to end this pandemic.lmaof

I guess the variants are funny to some. I dodged the truck and still got hit by a bicyclist mentality.

here in Switzerland the massaged government data shows that the same amount of people are dying, whether vaccinated or not. the only positive the data shows is in the hospitalization numbers where the vaxed have the advantage. but not when it comes to dying. so while i distrust my govs covid data, i trust it a lot more to be based on reality then the bought and paid american cdc.

https://www.covid19.admin.ch/en/vacc...ndicator=death

edit:eek:f course not landing in hospital is also worth a hell of a lot, if this vax had a proper history of safety it be a no brainer even just to stay out of hospital, but without knowing the long term risks its just not worth it, specially if you had covid already.

While not an act of god and certainly not perfect, the bought and paid for American CDC has saved many American lives and has contributed immensely to better health around the world. You’re all welcome.
