Putting so much faith in a college degree is what got a lot of people in trouble financially chasing worthless paper degrees. Education is great but you have to be able to practically apply it. I use to have the job of training the new college graduated engineers at the old battery factory. Good Times!

My Dr doesn't give jabs. The nurse will do that, they do not have a Ph.D. Most are RN, so they got the needed training to do jabs. Your aspiration failure BS might apply to your country. All give jabs properly in the USA.

I was a drug rep. I know how pharma companies pushed opioids.

For every dollar the pharmaceutical industry spends on research and development, it spends two on marketing. When I worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative in the neuroscience division of Eli Lilly, I was the living embodiment of this investment. I took doctors out to so many fancy Manhattan restaurants that the maitre d’s greeted me by name. The company hosted them at catered “speaking programs” and gave away tickets to baseball games and Broadway musicals. We even sent doctors and their families to sponsored academic conferences at tony resorts in Florida and California. During the day, if doctors didn’t have time to see me, I chatted up their receptionists, plying them with food and gifts (stress balls, umbrellas, clocks) and asking, breezily, which medications their bosses preferred prescribing, and why.

Well German health authorities just announced that like Denmark they start to use the aspiration method so they must have their reasons to follow this method oversudden.Other governments like NL, UK or USA still don't see it or just dont want to see it.Its not the first time they're slow in reaction.

This does not mean though, that they always behave badly or that all their drugs are harmful. Plenty of people are alive because of drugs or medical interventions, and many lives are improved by taking pharmaceuticals.

What some of you seem to do is to take examples of the worst of big pharma, to say that everything they do is harmful. This is clearly not the case. This is a medical response to a pandemic, that has been massively politicised.

The backlash here against the over prescribing of opiods is such that my Dr will now not prescribe opiate based pain killers for my severe back pain. Dr, now tells me to use paracetamol for sever back pain, despite the fact I used opiates very responsibly, and that paracetamol is utterly useless. Thank god for cannabis.

I have come to find out I fall in the <1% category e.g serious side effects, which I was able to stave off with cannabis

I'm not saying there are no benefits to the medical advances that have been made over the years, well except the regression of the last two. But what will be discussed after the Covid collapses is the withholding of treatment and that sometimes the actual treatment causing the problems. By design.

The fact they are withholding pain treatment from someone who is in dire need of it should tell you volumes about the industry, Particularly the ignoring of the Hippocratic Oath Drs take. I suppose the opioid restrictions come from the Insurance industry.
