how do we know they are short-lived? they've only been testing a small amount of time and will have no real idea of long-term effects. they also don't know if it truly is a cure, since people aren't being shot up then given the virus.

I'm lucky enough to live in a state in Australia where we have had no new infections for over 2 weeks. We still have borders closed and I have no idea how we move ahead in terms of opening up to the rest of the world. But at present we are relatively safe.

They have had a do nothing approach with covid. Surprising it hasn't been worse.

i was referring to this when i mentioned the after effects of the shot. there is no way of knowing long-term effects until years have passed. it is a balancing act that vaccine providers get savaged for regardless of their decision. release it too soon, folks complain that they short-changed the testing. wait longer doing more extensive safety testing, some people will die waiting for a vaccine to protect them. this is a losing proposition for them in this regard.
