Neurologists warn of brain damage in corona patients
A number of corona patients have suffered brain damage, even after they had only mild symptoms. Neurologists warn against this, writes British newspaper The Guardian.
The scientists described in Wednesday in the journal Brain the complications that occurred in 40 British corona patients. They suffered from only mild infection with brain inflammation, delirium, nerve damage and even minor strokes.
The cases described by the neurologists demonstrate an increase in the potentially life-threatening condition of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (Breath). At the UCL Institute of Neurology, the number of patients with this autoimmune disease increased from one or two a month before the pandemic to two or three a week in April and May. One woman aged 59 died from the disease.
"Covid-19 affects the brain in ways we have never seen with viruses," said researcher Michael Zandi of University College London. "What we see is that you can have serious neurological problems when you have only had a mild form of the coronavirus."
“Biologically, Adem has similarities with MS, but it is more of a one-off attack. Some patients suffer from long-term disabilities, others recover well, ”explains the scientist.
The brain damage cases studied after Covid-19 ranged from a woman experiencing severe psychoses to someone with cerebral edema and dizziness. "It is a major concern that a hidden epidemic will follow after Covid-19, with it slowly becoming apparent that many people have brain damage," said Zandi.
For the time being, this concerns a very small percentage that has suffered neurological damage. More research is needed to find out exactly how large the numbers are.

Well, we're looking into this very closely. Very closely, and it looks like beautiful and wonderful things are going to happen sooner rather than later, and possibly a lot sooner than most people would have believed possible, and that is a very good thing that is totally unprecedented and simply amazing.

That shit is what I give my dawgs for heartworm preventative. Buy it at the ag store, injectable heartworm for cattle. Apply to their food 1cc / 100 lb of dawg, once a month. Much cheaper than the vet stuff.
I had heard about ivermectin early in this wuflu panic, and the brand "Ivomec" I had used was removed from stores about the same time. "agri mectin' is available now.
Invermectin is used by pigeon fanciers for parasites on the birds.
