Its going good and my second room was just compleated a couple of days ago. As for pics. My computer crashed and I had to buy a new one. Alot of my first pics in soil are lost( i think). But there will be more to come soon. I promis.wh1te said:

my mother are kept in a 2gallon rubbermaid container painted black with six holes cut in it to fit six 3inch net pots in.
Here is a couple of pics to show you. This pic is of the first mothers going into the hydro mother unit.

Those are pics of new plants your going to use as the mothers for your clones?
Why do you grow them using hydroponics? I've seen from most that they prefer the growth of soil because it's possible for the mother to grow too fast. Though if it's just because of your allegiance to hydro, I can understand

So do you keep your mothers in that same setup for their entire lives or do they get moved at some point? I ask because I thought they might get too large keeping them like this.
I am contemplating just keeping bonsai mums in soil and going with something similar to your setup for flower.

hey Connoisseur what is your cab size? are you still using the cabs that pull 5 plants every 10 days?

Yes I do keep mothers in the hydro unit their entire lives. I just make shure to keep them trimed and as small as possible. If I decide to grow a perticular strain I'll trim all the mothers down exept the one I choose to flower. With hydro I'll have clones in just a couple of days using hydro. I also can go a full week with the mothers trimmed without having to top off.
I think soil bonsi moms are harder to keep because of frequesnt watering need but don't get me wrong. My new system is soil but im adding a drip system to it so I dont have to actually water every plant everyday.
my flower room size is something like 32 inches wide ,26 inches deep and 40 inches tall.arne564 said:
Yes I am using my orig. cab still and things are going good I just had to flower some stray clones and old mothers so i dont have 5 plants in each. Also I have moved to soil sense I aquired alot of soil nutes.

This is the new Flower room that boasts a 400w HPS with a 265 cfm daton blower and DIY carbon filter. It will hold 21 flowering plants in a perpetual SOG.
