maybe 2 or 3 weeks to go

the one i showed smells oily, like shoe polish maybe. quite pungent but with a sharp twang. The others smell like fruit of some kind with muskyness in the background. Its the same musky scent i get from Nevilles Haze actually so thats a good thing maybe.

I don't know why it rotates my pictures or how to fix it

I must say, Im very impressed so far.

Do we know how close the 90s Haze is to the NL5Haze clone its based on?

For me the real test is when it burns :yummy:

Im hoping for Incensey, woody, musky funk that makes everyones head turn and get in line for a toke... you know? Im old, you may not get it ;)

I must say though, my pictures don't nearly do them justice - its quite odd really because in person, you can see they are very resinous indeed. It really doesn't show up in the pics.

Also, I plant densely so theres no way to show a whole plant and how the structure is. Both strains grow really nice medium colas with large calyx and high ration to leaf. The stems are strong and thick.
All the buds are rock hard and the smells from all of them are potent - very strong genes in both strains. Well happy. Ill be working my way through more of their strains guaranteed. Im not easily impressed either.

I was waiting outside a shop while my mrs was in. I was smoking the last bit of a joint of an old uk clone called KrissKross - (pre80sSkunk1xSilverhazexHawaiianxOranjebud) Those smells pour off the KK and this old back guy who walking past literally stopped in his tracks, looked straight at me and smiled a smile that said it all. It was like a blast from the past... like he'd seen an old friend when he smell that and you could see it. was a beautiful thing :)

So has anyone found an incense pheno in this line?

Sampled a bunch with my friend out west a few months back. Every sample of 90's haze i tried threw that straight raw spot on church frankincense and myrrh in the air. The whole line is piffy. There was lemon-lime nose curling astringent shoe polish/pinesol types and pine-y phenos. None were pure incense in the taste but there was always some church in the taste. Not oozing out in the taste like NYC haze but def and strongly present in all.

But overall this strain is extremely close to nyc haze. The smell of the smoke is one in the same. There is no doubt; nyc haze, and nevil's hazes (A & C), especially the 5 hazes, are all related. No question about that as far as i am concerned.

Cheers all,
Puday

Ahh so its not just my imagination lol I got the shoe polish thing on one of mine! Damn glad to hear your report... you talk my language :)

Yeah, some of the 90's were so astringent that it is humbling. Never have i experienced such a strong penetrating astringent smell off of herb. Very similar to the cat piss smell associated with some of the best super silver hazes. The lemon lime astringent ones are super tastey too. Yum! The 90's stays true to it's original super silver haze blood. I am eager to sample these again on my next visit

The piney ones were even closer in some ways to the nyc haze than the prior mentioned. The piney ones had more of the traditional nyc haze taste.

All 90's samples had lots of body from the NL5 and really i personally find the 90's better than super silver haze. The c5 mom squared the beatiful nl5 body in nicely. The high is floating yet mildly electric soaring but not racy, coupled with a non couch lock heavy body. Shantibaba description for s.s.h. is spot the heck on for this strain as well. What did he say ... 'Grasping for reality/air' ... or something along those lines ... is how i found the highs.

FYI no trace of sour diesel whatsoever. But i bet the s.d..contributes the the lemon lime in the sssdh and her offspring.

I have a pack of these sitting in the stash. Don't know if I will ever get to grow them. If I ever get the chance to grow again the 90's Haze will be the first seeds getting wet. I would love to hear about smoking experiences with this herb.

week 10

Seems like very productive plant with all three having a nice high calyx to leaf ration, totaly columnar and very nice even development right down the plants - the lower buds are still big and chunky down there in the shade, just looking a few days behind the upper bud sites, that all.
All three have different smells. All smell good and potent in terpenes. One is very oily, shoe polish (furthest in pic), one is lime and one is more lemon and incense (nearest in pic) I think they will harvest a week apart staring with the nearest one in maybe 2 or 3 weeks then working back.

lookin' really nice. I liked the couple of Old School Hazes from CSG I grew, they were not sweet at all. very classic haze-y, didn't dense up as nice as yours though.:tiphat:

I think its the SSSDH that contributes the bud structure because I can see it in the Girl Scout Haze Cookies I have going too. These are my first goes at Connoisseur Genetics and Im already convinced. Haven't even harvested yet but KNOW one of each is getting kept Ill be trying more of their work definitely.
Seems like theres keepers in every pack... that or Im just got incredibly lucky :tiphat:
