Beautiful garden, musigny23! Congrats! I'm looking to your smoke reports!

I'm planning on running one of my Congo fems this fall/winter. She didn't get a fair shake on my last round. I'm looking forward to seeing her through properly this time.

Congrats also on the Congo Harvest musigny23 :tiphat:

Really beautiful, colorful and appealing Bangi congolese/purple pakistani phenos! Very happy to see you have had such nice looking harvest from our genetics. Looks like you are going to have a lovely autumn tasting the different sativa/pck hybrids ;)

High Syd,

It's pure african sativa x Kali China, no PCK in the Congo x Kali China limited edition.

Hey Syd, how are the congo x kc doing? Those colas have to be as big as your arm by now. Any pics coming soon?
Peace, God bless

hard rain

I grew Congo from Ace, just one plant so far. I am limited to a few plants and need variety.

Anyway, I quite liked it. It is a happy, uplifting, mellow kind of high, not the strongest but satisfying.

I grew among 3 other varieties and the Congo was prone to one or two male flowers coming on late in the middle of the flower. I chose to not worry and have so far found only 5 seeds so not a problem. This could have been my error as tent doors were left open a couple of times but this was the only variety that popped male flowers. As I said, this wasn't a problem.

I will grow this again.

Also beautiful colours and smell. Not good at describing smells but floral, intoxicating. Nice purples.

CONGO 3

is the tall and long flowering congolese tropical sativa. She grows little bit lanky with thin stems. Flowering is around 14 weeks. Taste and aroma is floral, pleasant with woody details.
The high is 1.class sativa high. Its powerfull, clean, euphoric and very nicely focused. Its great day smoke that produces very good vibrations with almost no paranoia or anxiety.

BANGI CONGO
is another congolese. IT grows smaller and more compact than congo3. Flowering is quite short for a pure sativa 10-12 weeks. High and aromas are very congolese but woodier than congo 3 and is a little less potent. Bangi congolese is a rarity very hard to find.

This is a pic of a lower Congo bud at about 6 weeks. They only went 10 weeks .
The picture doesn't do justice to the colours.

Id love to see a congo3 x (bangi congo x ethiopian).

Im trying to decide between a pack of regular congo and the feminized congo. I would prefer phenos with least amount of pck. What do u guys think?

Edit: found my answer on page 30 , dubi: “The new Congo fem is a more stable offering, slighty more sativa dominant in phenotype with the desired blend of pakistan indica influence in the mix. It has been rebuilt since the original Congo bred and I'm very happy with the results.”

What are the differences between Congo # 3 and Bangi Congo? (pure Congo, not Bangi Haze)
Thanks

Looking great hard rain :)

Looks like she yielded quite well and produced a nice blend of traits between the congolese sativa and the colorful pakistani. Sorry to hear she showed slight hermie tendencies, glad it was not problematic at the end. Congo hybrid is usually very sexually stable, especially outdoors. Please, let us know your opinion after drying and a bit of curing process. Enjoy your well deserved harvest! :)

Hi robotwithdreams,

If you are looking for a tamed Congolese very sativa dominant hybrid without PCK and with very little indica content then the Congo 3 x Bangi Haze hybrid listed at R+D section of our website is probably what you are looking for. Jaded1 tested it last year and he was quite happy with the results.

High Dubi and fellow Ace fans!
Here is my Congo at the end of six weeks.

Grown in 5 gallons of high brix soil and was untopped.
Her 6 weeks of veg was carefree and uneventful.

Her stretch is very sativa 2.5x and her stems are strong.
The buds are bluish and gold with spicy berry scents coming from her.

I'm so glad I took a clone.
Next time I'l' lst her for more tops.
Not that I'm terribly unhappy with the 3ft colas shes sporting.

Thanks Dubi!

I need some help with my Congo! Sry for the reddish pictures.
She is only at Day 55 but seems almost ready, I actually expected 2 more weeks more for her. The other congos here in this thread look different.
She looks very PCK like, the first flowers were purple from the beginning and she grew more like an indica. The buds are also like an indica, dense and popcorn like.
Do I have an short flowering PCK Pheno? Or will there be a lil reflowering?
