i've criticized bernie plenty lol. he's a coward and ended up being too weak to take on the democratic establishment. this is the fault with social democrats. they think they can actually convince or shame the establishment and the capitalists into joining the side of social democratic change. most leftists hold no such delusion lol.

Yes that's the correct definition. I consider anything that furthers the welfare/warfare state socialism. Go all the way back to the creation of the FED.

being that most people aren't in fact capitalists, scrapping capitalism in favor of a democratized economy, call it socialism, capitalism 2.0 i don't care.... at the end of the day the workers and everyday people will have much more power over our lives, economy, environment, etc. than we do now.

The speakers corner is a failure, a small corner pocket in a cannabis growing site that's ballooned into the most posted in section due to the inability of man to be able to control his own ego, hubris, and misplaced anger. And, yes, I include my self in this failure, we're all fallible, some of us do recognize it and try not to be. Sometimes. You can say it brings about conversation, but if you look through these threads it's the same few members repeating their own viewpoints and belittling those who don't agree. There's no real conversation and there's no progress. Hopefully, it does help some of you vent some of that negativity and anger that can be a part of the life we live, so to that end I'll admit it can be positive, but will IC mag to go down in history as a bastion of the greater cannabis community or a cesspool of hatred and frustration that takes itself out of the game a la 4chan and the like? Who fucking knows at this point...

I know. What’s a fellow to do? Spend his life fighting it or doing one’s best to enjoy and promote the goodness in the pipe dream? My direct ties to the corrupt world is through the tv and the Internet and those are only of my choosing. I can turn them off. Alas the world is not corrupt. There are no whips at my back. you can support a team, but still call them out when wrong, or even change teams. only a fool follows blindly without reckoning. i was a hard-core GOP & NRA member for decades until i could see the deleterious effects both were having on our democracy & the rights of the people. our "bill of rights" is slowly becoming a list of "okay ideas we can't afford & still feel safe". fucking everything is against the law, and jailing each other over imagined offenses without a victim is now a vast money-making venture, with a side effect (benefit?) of it eliminating the right to vote in many cases...team aint worth a fuck? quit backing them. it's not about winning, it's doing the best we can for all involved .. or was SUPPOSED to be.

There’s several teams in a league. Each made up of individual players , who play individual roles. Then they have the playoffs. Then the championship. If you only watch the championship , you get a distorted view.

Hello,
Hope you're fine this morning and that aircraft noise is not interfering with your day.
I just wanted to say ... and I don't want to confront you by doing so ... that Working for the man just gave me the shits SO MUCH that I opted out for a life on what, over here in the Land of Oz, is called 'the dole'. It didn't pay a lot, but I found ways of earning a little extra money here and there, AND we had five kids so the welfare was a bit more generous.
So we lived like that for maybe 20 or so years. It gave me time to build my own house in the bush out of reject stuff and of course have lots of free time to smoke dope and have lotsa sex while the kids were at school and other interesting stuff like that.
I really want to thank the Government which introduced the welfare system here. They were almost immediately thrown out but the dole stayed. It took the pressure off lots of marginalised people ... like single mothers for example.
There's untold money around. Nancy Pelosi hasn't got it all. The System IS UNFAIR for sure but I 'll bet you earn well AND TAX FREE from your private enterprises small tho' they might be.

That's it. All I have to say. I 'm happy except for some on-line stalker who keeps putting bugs in my Startup files.
