I agree, We can't seem to get people to see the 2 party system is a failure. The majority keeps voting for the same corrupt people. There's, not enough of us that can make a change. We def keep trying every year. Most people are greedy and selfish. Doing anything good for the people is political death. It's def not from good weed lol.

What I find incredible is that the political Right has somehow duped a huge percentage of the population into believing that the Commies are somehow in charge, and that things should move further to the Right.

I was mostly only joking about the weed but what is interesting to me is that I have lived in 4 different countries across 3 continent (never been to north America). Everywhere I have lived weed has always been the medicine of liberally minded people, what has happened in the US that this site has such an large number of people that back aggressive politics? It the polar opposite of the stereotype relaxed stoner attitude, that's why I ponder maybe just maybe the weed has gone sour.

My next question is as a political ideology what would be so bad about communism anyway? Not as in the evil most of the population are starving while I build my third gold palace kind of a way.

More in a use the technology we now possess to make life comfortable for everyone on the planet, young people who aren't interested in a vocation would need to spend 2 years max farming or building houses, everyone gets a nice shiny TV, phone and access to travel, plenty of leasure time. I know I'm dreaming but sounds a hell of a lot better than people counting there profits in the 100s of billions while other people are working 3 jobs with little access to education and health.

Commies 3.0, they don't look like commies on the outside, but meanwhile they copy some things, most people don't see.Centralisation of the power, at the moment they force you to get a vaccine passport so you can travel, but every three months, you will need a new jab, otherwise no travel.Currency is going total digital so they can follow you to the front door, where you go, what you buy etc.

Its all been discussed so many times. We all have ideas but its moot. Nothing will change until the people stop blaming the public for corrupt politics, I dont see that happening. Instead of trying something new the same old just keeps getting worse. Change rarely happens peacefully. The rich will keep spending there profits keeping the poor, poor. The USA has lots of issues that are caused by those in power. Ill be dead before I see change.

No I'm talking about a society where we are kind to each other and work together for the benefit of everyone. The young people farming area would be one big party, in the evenings. No one would be forced into anything, because as I said we would show kindness to those who are suffering from mental health issues caused by generational apathy. How's capatalism going for you? Happiness isn't something I can see much of in this thread.

Hammerhead I know I'm dreaming, America is an extreme, and if this thread is anything to go by the closer to boiling over into fascism. But the underlying issue is very much present where I live and most developed countries. No one wants to give up their wealth and privilege not the ultra rich and not the upper middle class.
