Ok dude first off, if u go in a warehouse its located on public property. If cops get curious they can bring K9 drug dogs around your building and easily get a warrant. If its in your house its a little harder for a cop to just snoop around your property.

+1 for residential. ya dont need a 26x13 just two 13x13s. ive got 2 4kw rooms stacked... as in one in the garage and one in the bedroom above it.

find the house through a real estate management company, make sure the house has 200amp hookup and a landlord who's too busy to check on you. no bills or services paid by landlord, you take care of everything from utilities to landscaping.

and why not 45 min away? think of it as your commute to work each day... im looking at spots about an hour away where 2 acres and a ranch is the price of a 1bedroom apt in my area....

I vote residential! I am looking for a similar situation for a co op set up and a cheap big house just outside the city is the best bet. A 5 bedroom house can be had for cheap around me and I would be 110% legit as well. Be a good neighbor and no one will be the wiser.

for only 12k you can easily use a basement or 2-3 bed rooms in a house....i got plenty of friends who run 10-15k inside residential houses....most bedrooms can fit 5-6 lights..most garages can fit 10 easily. theres also small sized warehouses


for for big time theres no comparison...a commercial warehouse is the SHIT. or better yet, buy flat acre land, and then drop a few 30x60 buildings on it, install 400amp 3phase power, and have fun its gonna be a lot of work!

until then...open sun is the way to go, the only electricity i gotta worry about is for my water pumps!

^i have the opportunity to do something similar to that...nice flat parcel with 400 amp service ready to go, just gotta pay for the buildings (looking at about 20-30k for foundation + steel building kit, no idea on city permits), a few things make me want to stick to the simple formula of giant open sun trees....id rather grow indoor leisurely and pay the bills with OD

You have to balance risk/reward but mostly, how you sleep at night!

I know and have known MANY growers, and I mean many...

NEVER once, no matter what size there garden, has the police just left when the garden got compromised...

No, I take that back, the cops leave and come back a hour later with a search warrant...

People think a Medical marijuana recommendation will get you out of whatever situation you have put yourself in with the cops, when if fact it does not...


My opinion? Rent a house...

I watched two cops walk into my neighbors house here in Denver with the house totally stinking of ripe bud. Cops asked him if he was growing. He said yes and that he had all the paperwork (he didn't), and told them if they went down to his basement during lights off and light contaminated, that they would be hearing from his lawyer.

Cops said they were told that if it was out of sight out of mind. They left and never came back. If I hadn't been with him out front of his house when the cops showed up (they were there for a civil assist for his landlord), I wouldn't have believed it.

He had way more than enough to catch a mandatory minimum AND he had multipl firearms in the house. I remember going back to my house and watching his house through the window freaking out. Couldn't believe when they left. I feel bad now
because I convinced him they were coming back with a warrant and he broke his shit down all night.

But they never came back.
