I guess you never saw the pics of the greenhouses breeder steve was rocking in switzerland?

when I say greenhouse, I mean greenhouse in prime sun summertime.. 1 acre greenhouse, 1 crop per year, cuts are planted july 1st at 1 cut per square foot and 10 weeks later the nicest bud ever, the best of both worlds.. 40,000 plants = 5000+ lbs booyah.. why spend the whole year growing indoors when it can all be accomplished in 3 months, stockpiled, and the rest of the year spent relaxing?

Sounds like a pretty good way of keeping costs low for sure. Gonna need a pretty huge dry room. One small mistake drying 5k lbs and the whole business goes under. Pull it off the first year tho and you can undercut the competition. I dont see the absolute top shelf being produced this way but I think you could snatch up the whole market segment of people on a budget looking for the cheapest seller.

i dont see anyone considering packaging and mailing costs here. selling grams up to 15 grams per client, vac sacced, registered ,mail, weighing, wages, material. i would like to see that for a dollar.

i will have no costs here. i have all my own seeds/clones/nutes/systems/i grow/.

my only costs will be processing and operating. i should be able to offer organic hydro for 5 a gram. and let the user decide if its worth it. i always let other experts validate my products. like the letters from doctor magnus i received,

Umm you're making this look way too simplistic. If you think running a pharmaceutical grade indoor green house is not gonna involve serious overhead I think you need to revisit your business plan. That fact that you think you'll have very little costs you're venture is already set to fail.

If people are going to pay for "pharmaceutical" grade weed they're gonna expect fungus, bug and pesticide free weed. Once you start spraying chemicals, forget it, only the desperate ones will want to buy it. If this was me I would't buy any weed that was ever sprayed with chemicals, after all I'm paying for "pharmaceutical" grade weed now.

So say you gonna get 500 prescribed clients. They all get 15grams per day. Thats about 17lb per day or 502 lb per month. In order to make this work you'll have to have at least 4 months of weed ready to go, so around 2000lb in storage which you gonna have to grow and store first. So that means come April 1st 2014 you'll have to have produced 2000lb.

Now you're also gonna be under the microscope when it comes to financing so the $$$$$$ from what ever grow ops you have ain't gonna cut it as you'll get raped by CRA wondering where their taxes are.

One thing I have not seen mentioned at all ..

I am guessing that 90% of the proposed patients/customers for these Licensed Producers went out and got their 10+ gram a day prescriptions because they saw it as an opportunity to make money, a DG offered them free medicine or they want to start a commercial grow of their own.

When they scrap the old program most of these patients are going to walk away and will not be buying from the govt even if you can provide it for $2 a gram.

but lots of people that didnt qualify before because of being class 2 and having no specialists diagnosis will qualify under the new regs. If the LPs are producing a top notch product and the street price goes up when all the DGs getting shut down.... there is a chance that the program could be very popular. Look at states with popular med programs, there are many small firms making good money. Lots of competition too. From what I hear, the top notch indoor stuff moves pretty fast in these clubs and the lower grade product sits. Nothing new there, but if your strategy is to produce mass quantities of mediocre meds you will have lots of competitors.

one of conroys long time friends told me 4 years ago that soon every doctor will have a huge stack of "license papers" up for grabs for anyone who wanted medical marijuana. and that no one would be refused, and all pot would be mail order.

how many people would have licenses to possess if it was easy and cheap. how many people in the last 2 years paid 500 from a pot friendly "clinic". how many people would love access to 500 different producers for their needs. there are a lot of folks that dont have lics that use that need, a lot that would change to it if it was easy, and canadians are cheap as hell. they would mail order any day for a 50-200 dollar ounce over their street guy any day. if local top shelf was 220 - 300 a z,

thanks doctor bud.

my first projects started officially in 98. never had any complaints from the growers or smokers. things have changed a bit with my needs, but the quality still remains.

i have stuff in storage = bc ballasts 600w. i may use my older cvr double hps 1000w ballasts, bell lr 's and adjustawings. i never stay loyal to bulbs, but my faves are solar max.

i am debating right now to just go bare bulbs. checker board. plants love bare bulbs in med-man tables. i have got 2 pound trees with 3 weeks preveg in tables. they go absolultey crazy.

check these root matts from my last bare bulb med-man table grow,

I actually noticed right now there is a large commercial co-op in Hamilton which right now is producing 350g per day of organic weed and also have the only rectrable roof green house http://www.mmar.ca/ he provides his patients with there meds at $30 per ounce presently as well as free edibles made from the trim of there plants of course this is a designated grower. Also all Canadian mmar holders should check out the page cause it has a link to a coalition of growers who are working on a constitutional challenge to the plan to eliminate personal grows or to at least sue the govt for the losses we will take on all the equipment we bought , the fact many of us who have been growing since near the beginning of the program have developed strains perfect for our own needs not to mention the fact that I calculated all my costs on 1 crop to grow 1.4lbs totals cost 587 grams 445 dollar so like .75 cents a gram if I do my own work so even if they do make the change in april I am sure the constitutional challenges and such will cause a quick change back because I already know I could never afford my meds If I couldn't grow them myself. And I think prices are going to be so much higher if the change goes thru then most imagine as if you look at there plans for the change the people licenced to grow all the mmj will need to have test the weed to provide exact thc and cbd and whatever other cannabinoids they want listed, as well as testing for mold , bacteria etc, all employese wil have to pass security checks , etc this is gonna drive the cost of mmj beyond being affordable just like harper wants it.
