I had a grow book that basically said this "If you grow bagseed you basically have a 90% chance to get some really good bud, bacause of all that new strains and good weed that today has to offer. 90% chance that you get some good genetics, it basically said, bagseed has evolved from waht it use to be and is no longer a waste of time. The way you grow it is how its going to be"

Yep, my first grow which happened to be bagseed was pretty good considering the equipment i had and how new i was to growing. I'm not an expert grower yet by any means, but i learned about all the things you need to do, things you need to buy, etc. before my first grow. I think reading and doing research is what saved me that grow. Didn't even have one problem with them, i grew 3 seeds and 2 were females. Both were lst'd and about 3.5 feet tall at harvest. I used a 400w hps for most of flowering, i used a 125w cfl for the first 1 or 2 weeks of flowering. Total Yield was about 36g dry on one plant, and 39g dry on the other. It was not super dense, fairly fluffy but not super airy buds. They were a lime green and whitish color, tons of deep amber hairs, trimming was kind of a pain in the ass but the overall product looked and smoked awesome. It smelt very lemony, almost like pinesol. Wasn't super potent, but fairly high up there, i'd rate it in potency equal too most nirvana strains. It amazed me, considering the seeds came from a cheap bag of schwag.

it just depends...this is what i ended up with from some schwag seeds...u would be better off going with good known genetics though

Yea, all i use are good genetics now. Right now i'm running Blockhead, Hashberry, Sensi Star, and Sour Diesel x Jack Herer. I have one blockhead pheno thats only 8 days into flowering that is frosty with triches, shes definately going to be a keeper.
