No issues with Deer or Elk, the dogs keep them away.

I'm hoping for 50+ lbs, some of these top colas are gonna be about 4' long and 18" around. This outdoor shit is easy as pie, I love it.

Everything is going good except for 1 problem. They are gaining sooo much wight the main stems are breaking in the wind. A couple of them that were topped early do have several mice big top colas. However, the stems aren't strong enough to hold em up. Two split right down the middle of the main stalk four different ways. I've got em tied up now I think but I'm sure yield will suffer for it. Some are goin purple from the cooler temps at night as you can see. Not many pics this week, sorry. Got to much work to do.

The pics don't do them justice. Some of the main colas are 4' long. Huge buds, bigger than I've ever grown anyway!

Coming from an indoor background I've always gone with the 50/50 amber clear trich thing for harvest. Should I do something different for outdoor? When does everyone else harvest outdoor? Any input on this?

This is my first outdoor season as well but that's what I was planning on. I hadn't heard any different for outdoor but that doesn't mean much. I guess it all boils down to which type of high you're looking for. I always prefer to go a little longer rather than too soon.

Have they been getting much, if any, silicon either from soil amendments, top dressings, or something like pro-tekt? I know that that has helped my plants toughen up and hold their weight better.

Packing on the weight this week. I bet they go 2-3 lbs per plant. I know some of you will say no, but, some of the side branches alone are looking like 3-4oz woppers. I know that'll shrink up but wow they are big. One of the tops that was FIM'd is as big as a 5 gallon bucket as you can see from the pic. Other side branches are as big as my shovel, some are 3-4 feet long and I can't get both hands around them. Thinking about chopping on Friday. I don't have a good microscope to look at the trchs but they just look like they are close to being done to me. Any thoughts on this?

Agree, 2 weeks to go, maybe more. Outdoor pistils wither faster than inside, let them go till 90% are dried IMO.

Prop-er. Mine are looking about the same as your developmental wise. Keep your eyes peeled for caterpillars. I spotted a couple on mine two or three days ago. Bt-k on the girls, no playing around
