I just sent in this one:

The new revised version of HB 1284 that the senate passed today, desecrates the patient/caregiver relationship and the vertical integration makes it almost impossible for high quality medium sized caregivers to help patients. As a voter of Colorado and one of your constituents, I am urging you to vote NO on HB 1284. While I realize that medical marijuana has spawned a new industry, I think that there are other ways of implementing regulation and taxation without taking away the rights of larger caregivers and their patients. Remember in this election year who put you in office and stand up and be the voice for Colorado patients, caregivers and cultivators.

I suggest we find which dispensary and dispensary owners are behind this bill 1284. Then every caregiver out there waits outside of dispensary and recruits patients walking into these mega-dispensaries. Trust me, offer them $35/eighths of higher quality meds and they wont ever go back to these shitholes. Also when the average ordinary patient realizes that it's these dispensary owners who are responsible for fucking everything up for patients and caregivers, the decent people won't ever spend another $ on these greedy assholes again.

I could easily find 10-15 people who would get 5 patients under them, let me be their consultant in their gardens, grow WAY better meds than these "wal-mart" dispensaries, and undercut those assholes and put them out of business. I may be given a 5 patient limit, but I will certainly have no problem being a consultant for a dozen more gardens.

Growing top quality medicine is my hobby, my passion, and my life. I am not going to let some greedy soul-less bastards take this away from me

Peace in medicine, Patient's choice, Broadway wellness, Lotus, The Health Center, Rocky Mountain Organics.... yup, all the knuckleheads are here.... And Veta's Fullspectrum outed as well. Is there a single shop on the list that was growing before they opened shop 6 months back? Maybe some of the folks with the farmacy, but I've spoken with the owners of many of these shops, and they all claim NO experience producing cannabis.

Sooooo.... all the shops that are newbs the scene with either junk meds or high prices or both are the ones that supported this shit.

Any vendors or customers here should boycott the above list of shops.

The Releaf Center shared it. It is the list of founding members of Coloradoans for Medical Marijuana Regulation, the group that payed lobbyist Matt Brown.

I'm sorry to say I have done business with the shops in the past, and should have been more coherent of who was supporting what. I will not step foot in any one of these shops again!!! I encourage others here to do similar.

So this is the Boycott list?

I don't think i have ever been to one of those dispensaries... i figured the Russians would be on the list for sure.
I always think word of mouth would make some of these places close. But i guess people are thrilled with the novelty of buy Medical Marijuana from a store front no matter quality, price, or ethics..

I won't name names, but I personally know a couple of growers/owners of 2 dispensaries on that list. I can tell you that they are Colorado & cannabis to the core, grow superior meds, and really care for their patients. They had no idea that the law would end up this way, in contributing to CMMR they were simply hoping to have a voice in the political process. Hell one of them, without my intervention, probably would be shut down September 1st!!

So I think it would be unfair to just attack everyone who contributed to CMMR.

They ammended that part;

I read the entire 77 pages last night and if holds up during the next few readings you will be OK.

I cannot find the 77 page report I read last night but it said you can run a dispensary, if your felony is older than 5 years.

They also took out this provision for ordinary Primary Caretakers no 5 year clause to become one.

At least that is my interpatation of it.

I hope I am right.

the problem is some of these shops donated without knowing what they were supporting, or they supported it in the beginning stages before the "big disp takeover" bill was formed.....but I know for a fact some of those disp do support the bill.

I don't really think it matters if their intentions were good. They gave money to the Nazi's without asking what the details were. Actions matter not intentions. If your money supports bad things you are still responsible for them. If I gave money to someone to represent me and then they screwed me over I would be suing them. If your friends aren't doing that than I would sit down a do a deep evaluation of who you think they are. Don't take that offensively. People are manipulative. I had a room mate steal my entire crop once and then come back and try to act like my friend. Guess what? People do devious things for money. You should be glad you see their true colors now.

I have to agree...I know Jim @ Patients Choice is not at all happy with the way things turned out....they have been growing their product...and, according to Jim, he still buys 75% of his meds from vendors...

Some of these guys blindly trusted the others and, now, they are screwed as well.

If you write them a letter or call them they will know you consensus. But basically in a word YES. This is going to pass unfortunately. I have talked to either the reps themselves or their secretaries and only a few of them are against it
