which is why my blood boils when i hear all the talks of regulation in colorado. what we are seeing in colorado is one of the last free markets at work. (can you think of another truely free market? i cant)
the fact that we are arguing about which regulation is better, as opposed to whether regulation is needed at all, tells me we have already lost the battle.

I still crack a smile whenever I think about the "Emerald Rectangle", haha.
So I'm staring at my fancy new sig-pic and it occurs to me: "The Emerald Rectangle" would be a great name for a dispensary.
What if us ICMAG growers banded together and opened a storefront? It would be great for those of us who are selling our extra medicine to dispensaries for 200-275 and oz, and it would be great for Colorado's patients who are currently paying $20/g or more for good medicine. As growers, we could work as cooperative members supplying the shop with all the net sales going to the person who grew the medicine. Operating costs could be split evenly between all cooperative members, making it an affordable expense for the individual. Since storefronts(with good medicine) are what attracts new patients, everyone would be able to increase their patient count and thus productivity.
I think this is exactly what most mmj consumers want and if the storefront moved enough inventory from enough cooperative members, it wouldnt costs each one of us much money to run the store. I can picture it now with a the big green flag out front and a line of patients out the door.
Am I over medicated? Thoughts?
watch out, some new dispensary is gonna ca$h in on that name....Emerald Rectangle. Hurry!
