Trying to get up to 50 posts for PM ha, this made me laugh this morning and I thought I would share it. I love that beginning haha.

"During a stop in Boston for his latest tour run Kid Cudi and the crew put together a little documentary. Directed by Jason Goldwatch/DECON, the videos set to the tune of Cudi’s latest song “cudderisback“. It’s pure jokes so enjoy and laugh a bit."

Who said it had to be an extravagant gathering. We are stoners! Give us a mix of music and some BBQ (with boca burgers for us vegetarians of course lol) and we are set. We could have all sorts of fun games too. Like a joint rolling race or a home made bong contest. I would like to see a 10ft bong with measuring marks for those "I can take a bigger hit than you" guys. I am gonna bring an extra tent that's just for hot boxing! With all of the growers there I think some big interest things that could possibly make money to pay for it are: seeds/cuttings, pay seminars for things like cooking and making bubble hash/cloning, glassware/rolling papers/misc smoking accessories, and you could always let other businesses rent pads for tents or booths like a trade show.

Ok, I just found out that I'm going to have to move so I'm looking for a 3 bed (or 2 bed + study/den) 2.5 bath house with a large unfinished basement. Preferably South of Denver and on a large lot. Rent to own is what I'm shooting for. Anyone know of a house thats rent to own with a MMJ friendly land lord/lady?

Start checking craigslist and rentals com. I just went through the same thing myself and finally found a place after 3 weeks of searching. Expect to pay around 1100-1200/mo for what you are looking for. I was surprised to see how many landlords were interested in discussing lease with option.

thats a damn good price for a house with 3bdrm, 2+ bath, & basement....Id expect 1400+ in a decent neighborhood, or with any land

You can spend $1400 if you want, there are lots of those out there too. But there are quite a few 2-4 bed, 1-2 ba ranch style houses with basements in Arvada/Westminster/Broomfield/Northglenn/Thornton in the $1100-$1200 range. A half dozen new ones pop up a day in the classifieds. If you're willing to Live in Aurora you can find something SUPER nice in that price range. You're talking to somebody who just spent the last 3 weeks house hunting, I know.

A LOT of those people are upside down on those homes, and just want to be rid of them.

Rent to own is a horrible idea for anyone, except people with large amounts of cash sitting around.

Usually only 100-500 bucks of the rent goes to a closing cost, which is pretty nominal, and if you decide you do not like the house, you lose that money. If it was 500, it would take almost 2 years of renting to get 10k, which is usually not enough for a down payment.

The beauty of renting is the lack of responsibility of ownership. Homes where I am at start at 2000 and go up from there. Condos are 1500-1900. Should come down a bit when ski season winds up.

If you find a motivated seller and YOU negotiate the contract there are some great lease options available. Read, "Investing in real estate with lease options" by Wendy Patton for some good info. It's very realistic to expect half or more of the rental payment to go towards the cost of the house. If you rent to own the landlord will leave you alone, guaranteed!

I'm with Bobby, Lease/Rent to own is a losing game everytime. Loan rates are low right now if you can swing it that's the way to go.

I've got a few questions for the kind Co folks;

I just got a carbon (can filter) with a 6" hydrofarm inline fan, rated to up to 188 CFM (although I don't think it's putting out nearly that much). When I run this thing it doesn't seem to be pulling enough, I can hold a lighter near the filter and it doesn't even really flicker. Anyone got any advice on fans?

When using Dolomite lime, how much do folks use? I've followed the instructions (2 Tbls per 5 gallons of soil using the sunleaves brand) and it just doesn't seem like it should be enough??

Thanks!!

Ill address the fan as I got no idea about lime.

What are you trying to accomplish with the fan?...is this an exhaust? or venting back into the same room.......#1 rule is dont over do the CFMS....I guarantee your air is still being scrubbed, just not as much as as it could do......I have a 747cfm fan on a big can filter & I can barley feel it unless I put my hand right on the filter....then I can feel just slight air movement.....You have to remember how much surface area there is on a filter, which is why they work so good....hope this helps

I disagree entirely. #1 rule is you can NEVER over-do CFM's. Cause if ya do; you can always turn it down; you can never turn a fan up.

And when your testing your fan, its hard to tell how your testing it. Are you testing it hooked up as it should be in the room? Are you testing it out in the open? Are you trying to test the sucking or blowing power (That makes a diff too... its better to suck threw your carbon then blow out it). Cause i could take my old 365 dayton and put a lighter where it was pulling air and it wouldnt move a flame. But put a 4" intake on it and put the flame by the intake; oh yea; it'd put it out. Air takes the path of least resistance, so if your doing open air test (no pos or neg pressure) it'll be hard to see anything really being done...

I gotta go to work soon; but search out "ventilation 101" and "How air flows" i think it was... read threw those. One is a simple "how air works" and the other gets hardcore into percentages you'll want to increase fan size and such for carbon scrubbers ect.

P.S. Think we can uhh, UP THE MATURITY IN HERE?!? This is a colorado MEDICINAL fourm... lets represent our state and what we can do with what we've been given. Realize its a fourm... and REP does NOTHING for or against you. Its a stupid click of a button. Grow up, grow weed; and get with it. Catch rep in the real world... does nothing for you here. I know you've all seen the "Arguing on the internet" ad... no matter what; you both are going to still be retarded. Its cool to disagree; but lets not argue...
