Dispensary bud is the "Mexican Brick Weed" of the industry. Ask around for some actual quality cannabis. Hell I have seen better on craigslist.

Well, its really inferior to the regular "good" weed in the new england and NY area. I haven't seen anything that even comes close to the really really high end stuff out there.
That said, the weed is perfectly fine as long as you go to a good dispensary. The awesome thing is being able to walk in to a freaking store, buy some stuff that is illegal most places, and carry on with your day. The wide variety of edibles/extracts/etc are the other bonus. While the weed might not be quite as good...not a whole lot of illegal markets have the selection of even a moderate shop.

Exactly what I figured, mine comes from my closet so I am chillin. It's the ability to walk in a store and see all the products and stuff.
I know its not much to locals but it still seems kinda crazy to me.
I dont think I could risk cl in strange state. I know the way cl is in ny and I just could not recommend it to a visitor.

listen to the locals... better herb on CL than in most shops....
once the novelty of walking in the shop and buying herb wears off, and the headache from the shit herb wears off... maybe you will understand the search for quality. not trying to be a jerk, just sayin.

Don't be so harsh, friend. You know I don't do much shopping, but the SLH from the Pink House on Federal (where you sent me, remember?) was quite good. Very solid long lasting high, but the flavor was too strange for these old school taste buds. Very, very lemony. That was last year some time, before they had much rec selection at all.
Yeh, I've def had stronger (yours, others, even some of my own) but it wasn't disappointing. As you say, the very best is closely held among friends but at least some shops offer high quality products.
I've tasted other retail weed when out & about, most of it acceptable if not inspirational. Well, except for a toke off a cheap pre-roll some young guys were toking in the alley. I think it was fresh fan leaves rolled up & left to dry. Downright nasty.
Hey shishkaboy, you should have a hard time finding herb in the event. I am bringing down a couple of eighths of my Bruce Banner to "trade " just in case nice folks from outta town like yourself want to check out some "artisinal" local quality. I am sure there will be hundreds like me there.
Picked up a few diff nugs from green solution.. Had them bring out abt 20 diff kinds and most looked like popcorn or lower buds but i did end up with some nice glass slipper and humboldt. Quality nugs although I'd like some og, diesel, and haze

If you were happy with ANYTHING from the Green Solution then you will be real happy when you go to the cup and sample some actual quality buds. I'm sure there will be fire floating around.
The Green Solution is literally at the bottom of the list in quality.
