I have never heard of this before. PLEASE tell me where i can find a reliable source of information on this proccess. I am getting very untrusting of just anyones' comments on the web. Been sent down too many wrong paths.

In your place, I'd look into gibberellins-

Also known as gibberellic acid & GA in the literature. There's been a lot of talk about it on some other forums and among gardeners of all sorts. Def real science behind it. It may be available in kits.

Mechanical methods can def be useful- scarification techniques of various sorts. They help the seeds absorb water & weaken the seam so that seeds can open more easily.

I am hoping someone will come help me get some life out of these seeds. I seriously do not trust myself with trying to get these seeds to sprout. Thanks to several very generous people on this site giving me crash courses in growing i can grow some pretty good buds now but i still don't understand more than a small percentage of what everyone is writting here.

I probably wouldn't have survived the cancer without all that help and encouragement. Now i accidently found something that just might help out some of the breaders that gave me their knowledge by giving out strains that haven't been seen in 30 years...but i lack the knowledge to get them to sprout. I would rather let someone who knows what the heck they are doing try to get these to live. But if it has to be me then i will need a lot of info and reading to boost my confidence before i will try again.
I have already wasted about 200 of these seeds trying. I don't want them to be all wasted. Thuss i was hoping someone might volunteer to pop some of these in exchange for me getting a couple of cuts from each one that pops.

This year is already bumbing me out since i killed the last seeds i had of MILF...To date that has been my best grow (very close to the NYCD though) and it looks like i may never see another because i messed up when i went to pop them back in Jannuary. This is probably why i am so timid about these seeds from 1984-1986.

I quitt EVERYTHING having to do with pot on Christmas Eve 1986. Somehow i missed throwing these away back then. I would like to think that all of this might amount to something...but no way to know untill i get some life out of them. And it was actually Dec. 2010 when i went back to growing, so i still don't have much experience.

Thank-you VERY much there Jhhnn. I had COMPLETELY forgoten about gibberellins. We didn't cover them more than an explaination of structure in Org. Chem., And they were not very common when disscussed in Botany so we didn't cover anything about their function in germination. I am still rereading the functions of the various compunds in that family...actually they do give me some reason to be encouraged, but still not confident enough in myself.
If anyone ever sees this in a kit PLEASE post a link here quick.

Stupid question here. What about the rubbing alcohol in the solution? Won't it kill any blasto development? Or is it in a ballance that will allow the germ to multiply?

I don't know any better than you, I'm afraid. I just remembered something I'd read about using the stuff, poked the great google beast a few times. I really don't know shit about it beyond that.

So in October either the quality at the stores is going to go way up, or it is going to drop even more. Should be interesting.

It will be nice to see the "real growers" shine buy focusing only on growing the best product possible.

This will be the beginning of the "craft beer" explosion of the cannabis industry.

There are to many "business men" forced to grow 70% of their own product that have no business doing so.

There is a bright line rule that you cannot participate in a wholesale marijuana transaction in Colorado without first being licensed by the state.

Homemade worm castings 100 times better than any store bought(mixed with other shit) unless that store is farming their own but still its nice to know what goes into it. Then some nettle, thistle, and homegrown kale fermented tea. Might as well make your own nutes. Some EM1. Always good to have around, especially if you have animals or on a septic system. Then last pic is Samson and Delilah

Dude I know this scene from a small NorCal town where I lived where the population goes from about 5,000 to 15,000 over the holiday. Fook that. I always just stocked my fridge, stayed away from town and went out into the woods for some peace and quiet. Being a local I knew where to go just a few minutes out of town and virtually a ghost town. Just the wind and a babbling brook.
