I heard someone mention they thought they were femmed seeds, did you get any males? How was the yield?

That satori looks great. I've got some hashberry on deck, 1st run with mandala, I'm psyched!

Hmm now that you say that I only got 2 to germ and yes they were both females.. Yield was average.

The Satori is great I love it. I also run Sadhu and I like that one a lot too. Mandala strains have serious vigor. For the price Mandala is hard to beat. I still have packs of Mandala #1, White Satin, Hashberry, Speed queen and Kalichakra to run through.. someday..

Kelly have you ever thought about running a Scrog set-up in your cabinet? I think that you could get some really nice yields by running one.

I think that if you had trained the plant to grow through the whole screen you could have filled that entire space with just one plant...

From my experience running a scrog it at least doubled my yields..

Hey all, got a quick question. Started up my second grow and I want to be very ph concious this round. I have Ph up and Ph down by general hydroponics. My water straight out of the tap is 7.3, a little high. So I just filled up some buckets and will let it stand for atleast 24 hours before I use it, I will re test the ph of that water before use.

I thought I read somewhere that you took the ph once all the nutrients are added, is this correct? I will be using cutting edge solutions this round, I will be using plant amp, Uncle Johns blend, Mag amped, grow, bloom, and micro solutions. I know that one of these causes the ph to be super high but will even out. So should I adjust my water first or wait until the nutrients are added then adjust?

Appreciate it

Are you letting your water sit to evaporate the chlorine? If that's the case you should just get a chlorine filter for $35 at the hardware store.

Always add nutes, then adjust ph if necessary. Most nutes buffer solution (automatically lower) to the target range.

here in foco they use chloramine in the water. This does not evap out....ever. And most of the dechlor. filters to remove it do an OK job at best. We all are gifted with pretty good water. 2 stage micron and carbon block filter is all you really need, Short or Tallboy. Will drop your ppm to about 70. find them on ebay for about $40. worth it.
Anyone growing Bordello? Or how about DK, Diesel x Krypto? I will post pics later today.

Hey Kelly it was great meeting you. Hope all grows well. What type of lamp did you decide to use for you 600?

Battery Acid is MUCH cheaper than GH ph down, and it does the same thing. With far less.

That's what I use.

homebrew, I attach a shurflo garden hose chlorine filter to the spicket in the basement for all my garden water needs. $30 and super easy. Brings PPMs down in the 60-80 range. Have to add calmag.

hey hoss what nutes you using
Generally I like the Botanicare line. I'm finishing up a batch of homemade high P organic tea this run. Moving in a different direction next run though as my plants have had deficiency issues with the tea. I'm actually thinking about running advanced nutrients next run even though I always said I'd never give those bastards a penny, lol.

AN are marketing geniuses. Nothing more...

I get great results with the regular GH micro and bloom. I then add some Bloombastic, which is pretty pricey, but worth IMO.

Hey BobbyS I got a free sample 2 or 4 oz bottle of the Bloombastic. was thinking of trying it out. do you spray it or into the water? I am using the Kool bloom and GH Floranova. I like them well enough. It has now become painfully apparent to me that I am the cause of my smaller harvests in the past. Doing much better now though. That Blommbastic and the dry Koolbloom are almost the same. numbers and all other ingredients. Much cheaper.

Peace

Bloombastic is better. I promise.

You add 2ml per gallon of water, with your base nutes. DO NOT USE ANY OTHER BOOSTER WITH IT.
