Im Moving to CO in 3 months..where can i get good genetics?!?!
Get a card and go to a dispensary with clones or seeds. There is a thread called "Colorado Medical Marijuana Clone Scene" or something like that. That would be a good place to start. eastcoastbuds I would like to give you an early welcome to Colorado. The first thing you should do when you get here is pick up a copy of our local free bi-monthly newspaper/magazine Westword. It has a section for doctors, dispensaries, and everything else you need.

I just saw this in last weeks Westword. It's so hilarious you must try it! Pass this Denver Marijuana Matrix around the table with the next doobie and see what you come up with

Every other ad on craigslist is selling either clones or meds here. There is a dispensary on virtually every other street corner. Most of them sell clones (literally 3 within 2 square blocks of my house). Strike up a conversation with one of the other 87 customers shopping at the grow store on any given day. They might help you out.

But, if you are moving here to make money growing, the ship has sailed my friend. Every pimple faced punk that can spell mmj has already moved here and is currently growing crappy pot to flood the market with.

Sorry

Kelly why'd you upgrade from the .9 gal tank humidifier?

I'm still rockin' that same one you had... not getting tired of filling it 4-5 times a day at all, haha.

I have a question! My rH in my flowering room is 35% when the lights are on but in the dark it jumps up to 65%. Is this going to effect my yield? Should I look into a dehumidifier? I put lids on all of my reservoirs. The only reason for this buildup of humidity that I can think of is the air in the room is not circulated as much at night because my in/out is not constantly going. Should I have circulating fans turned off in the dark? I think they may be drying out the leaves and causing the plants to perspire. I know this because some of the leaves that are getting a lot of air movement are curled up around the edges like they are dehydrated.

Thats true. I put a Xbox on Craigslist the other day and the first call I got was some guy asking me if I would trade some 'high quality medical herb' for it and he had no idea who I even was.

could be windburn, if you turn off circulating fan, humidity will go up... I had the same problem so hooked a humidistat to the exhaust, as long as the humidity is low enough where the intake draws from.

Keep the ventilation going during the dark period and I'll bet the RH goes right back down below 50% immediately.

If I do that it will be too cold in there at night. with the lights off and the ventilation off it gets to about 68 during the dark period. If I turn the vent fans on even with a medium sized space heater that chilly winter air just drops the temp way too low. I will turn the oscillating fans off at night and see what happens. Maybe two booster fans connected with the other room through a light trap just to circulate air around. idk. I would like a more simple solution than that.

i would hook up the ventilation fan to a humidistat if possible. it would be nice if you can set the ventilation to run on a timer OR a humidistat. not sure if they make a controller like that.
can you set the circulation fans to come on less during the dark? i think mine come on for ~15 mins every 90 mins at night.

maybe a small dehumidifier that only runs at night?

I have fresh air coming in with a booster fan and my out goes through a carbon scrubber. The in/out fans are hooked up to this thing. It controls the in/out according to temp. It makes my intake work sorta like air conditioning. As soon as the temp gets to 78 it kicks on the in and out fans until it reaches 74 again. The fans don't kick on when its dark because there is no heat source to make the temp go too high. One thing I haven't tried yet is turning that space heater on full blast at night and seeing if it can build enough heat to make the vents kick on once in a while. If that doesn't work I will have to go for the dehumidifier. Anyone know a good place to get one cheap? I will buy a wrench from Sears but not an RO or dehumidifier or anything not made by craftsman for that matter.
