we found a nice middle ground with 750's. the plants can get closer without white or burned tops and the heat can still be controled with venting. we like your christmas pics dh. We put up a little forest scene with mirror ice rinks and little figures surrounded with a forest of long buds.

Still waiting on a phresh filter 850. No one in the springs can get me one, so I ordered one online and they said it had to be shipped on a pallet, so I am going to try a new source online and see what happens. I am planning on air cooling the lights and controling heat with the outside air, controlling temps with a fan speed controller. Once the 750cfm fan and filter combo are in there my hopes are that I wont need to air cool the hoods but the ambient air flowing into the room is about 72 degrees..WE will see. Once I dial it in with the filter I will know better. I might even just get another hood and do a small scrog over on the side of the room. I am 3 plants under my limit, but alas I do not have any big enough to put in the room.
SO much to think about!

Can fans and filters are 35% off right now at WTG.

Why is your intake air 72 degrees? It's cold out!

BTW, I have 3kW + propane co2 and two 8" Max Fans/Can 66 filters are doing great, no vented lights either.

Looks like you ditched the hydroton.
What medium are you rocking now?
Still GH 3part?
I got some good results with the Maxi gro/blm, fairly cheap.

yah those buckets wern't condusive to the style i wanted to be growing. plus the summer heat in the warehouse was unreal making it tuff to keep healthy roots. now I'm using 7 gal grow bags using ffof and a little bit of perlite. yup I'm still using gh 3 part and a few other additives. i really like the ffof has just enough nutes in it to get me all the way thru veg with out adding anything axtra exept a little cal-mag a week befor flip.

Why is the Durban Poison so popular down here in Denver? I've had midgrade all the way to AAA versions of it and it doesn't deserve the hype. It is not a landrace and the skunk #1 in the makeup is dominant in the buds and taste (yes it does have that hazey/kush smell and taste mixed in with the dominant skunk #1 which is more pronounced). It's good herb but does not live up to the hype. I am guessing that it yields really well and that is why it is so abundant.

I've grown it and I agree with your assesment. Yes, it does yield pretty well. :) It's pretty strong and stable also, but there are better options IMO. I wouldn't consider it a keeper. Probably some random seed from old Amsterdam stock... maybe not Durban at all, hard to say.

I like my cut of Durban, Fair yielder, good potency, stable, but mostly it's very unique smell and taste set it apart from anything else in my garden.

As for what I've grown, it's not the most popular, that goes to AK47 and Blueberry, but it's nice so I'm keeping it around.

Wow thats a unique looking plant there, dragging hooks. Some of the smaller leafs appear to be totally unserrated. And they look hard and smooth, not the stereotypical cats tongue texture. Interesting.

only been growing LSD strain since Feb so it's somewhat new to me
when we moved back here a buddy laid some clones on me

grows so fast I dubbed it "Jack and the Bean Stalk stuff"
nice yeilds and it's very strong (the seed sale sites claim it's 24%thc)

clones very easy, a week after cutting them there are nice roots

now my wife is just messing with me......

we went and got a Christmas tree today
and she says to me

"better check it closely for Spider Mites before you bring it in the house"
