Banner 3 = Easy to Clone
Chemdog 4 = Just a fucking bitch to clone, and even the mom is a finicky bitch, if the HUMIDITY gets too low the whole plant starts to die.......... WTF???!!!!!! I'd say on avergage it takes 4 weeks to root a clone, and even then, maybe only 50% success.

Good God, this has got to be the truest statement I have ever heard. I hate cloning Chem4. Nobody who hasn't grown it yet believe's me.

My cut averages 20-25 days to clone.

Have you tried to clone the SFV OG? That is a super bitch, too! I take a tray of 50 clones to pick out 16 for a run!

I'm running d420's SFV OG x Emperor Kush, which is damn close, but not the whole thing. If my understanding of genetics is right, and I could be way wrong, it should express around 75%-88% straight SFV pheno's in it's offspring, which is what I'm finishing up now. I know the Loompa's part of the Emperor cross has been very prevalent, no matter what I've seen it crossed to yet, bt this SFV cross is expressing some fairly true SFV characteristics. (see sig)

BTW - Not sure if you saw my PM. No harm intended, if you thought so. :comfort:

They are all around you.
You just have to know WHAT you are looking for.

P.S. It was easier in the beggining of the Green Rush, when sharing was caring. And alls peoples were caring about was how much they could grow. Now the industry is no longer in the 'Startup' phase and is entering the 'growth' phase. So now all the nasty words of a LEGAL business are coming to light: Trade Secrets, Intellectual Property, Tangible Property, !Regulations! (read 'barriers to free trade'), Patents, Trademarks, ect...Which are all useful tools for a properly functioning economy, but, just like anything, they can be abused tools, too.

P.S.S. There used to be a guy on here, GreenMopho. He got kicked out for strain swapping, 'cause in this state strains were being traded like baseball cards. That is why there are no State Forums anymore. It somehow violates the TOU of this site. Not so on thcf*rmer. I heard he is a real asshole, grows shitty herb, and is too busy now feeding the corporate MMJ machine to toke down with old acquaintences.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Rednick again.

Yea, fuck that guy, I'd kick his ass if I saw him. He was one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. In fact, I heard that he personally brought spider mites and PM to Colorado, it just wasn't around before he spread his shitty genetics...

Very True Red when i first started i got 2 Clone i had no idea what they were lol Now i doubt i could even find another B.F.F. whatever that was i had my first run

I learned that the hard way.

I also learned Eagle 20, Floromite, Spinosad and Bayer tree and shrub. (mites I have seen, thrips, root aphids and PM never)

What are you going to do? They frown on shooting peckerheads.

anyway....

I just took clones from my alleged Chem4 - we will see earlier than I thought!

I have 8 4SD's from Rez, - guess we will see which side of the tree these lean towards too. I may do the males with a TW......
Gawd I luv this job! LOL

Nothing brings out the taste like lawn fungicides and ornamental pesticides.

If they look like this, every nanometer covered in trichs, and you brush the plant and can smell the stinckyest, smelliest rotten gym socks ever, from like a mile away, it's real, if not, a guy with 1,200 posts surely knows someone on this thread that has the real deal!

Damn Space you are running some Hortilab gear. That shouldbe interesting. Have not heard much about these guys other than a bunch of shit talking on thefarmer. That thread was really stupid, everybody speculating about stuff they have never seen, grown or smoked. Trying to tell what the plant was by looking at one in veg. Just dumb. Stuff all sounded pretty good to me. Keep us updated. Please.

The Banner cutting was taken late into flower...so I think that had something to do with it. Just using oasis and a dome with a heat mat. dip and grow with superthrive while watering. Don't really have too much difficulties. Sprouted a few God Magic seeds I made last year, God Bud x Magic Merlin. lets hope I get some fire.

Still looking for that Ghost, did someone tell me D9 had it? Am I not suppose to ask that?

Peace

Just read Merlot's post #4132 about caregivers with 5 patients having to register their growsite the state and having to comply with all the regulations. My buddy was planning on running vert at his new location. So I guess he has to change his plans now. So does this mean that they're going to visit these locations as well?

I was assured this was the "real deal" but,,,,

Either I'm a hellafine grower with about 90% success rate on my Chem-D clones - or this isn't Chem-D, I'm going with I'm a hellafine grower that may not have the promised genes. No way to know for sure till I get one flowered, but this isn't hard to root.

The Cherry AK - is another wild goose chase that took about as long as a seed grow and wound up in the trash.

My Trainwreck - that one is real. BFD

My 1200 posts are outnumbered lately by cheesy little ripoffs with bunk genes and multiple bug issues; but that's another story. Then there are the outright liars.

So, recently one in three has proven to be as advertised, not bad if I'm shooting 3 pointers, or at bat.

It's ok - sometimes what goes around,,,,,

I wanted a really GOOD C-99, and instead of hope for somebody elses choice, I got a pack of Head's early C99 F2's.
None have the signature "Grapefruit" or "Pineapple" aromas, but we have 2 that are fruity funk and one that is,,, a good one!

I really can't describe it, a brudda called it Gardina funk.

I wouldn't know a gardina from a rats azz.

Everybody likes all 3.
A LOT. But I still don't have anything Pineapply or Grapefruity, so I got a pack of Gypsy's C99 F2's for future reference.

My buddys tell me dispensarys are trying to steal bud, lowering initial offering prices by 50 to 75% - sure when you head for the door they dig deeper - but I suspect a lotta small scale growers take first offer. The retail prices haven't changed - and quality - isn't what we see by some growers here -

You are right though Spleefman, - good genes are around. I do my best to make sure of that, but compared to some here - I'm working out of a duffle bag space wise - and numbers. I have a hospice I donate to, they are the ones that tend to request a spefific strain.
