Colorado Growers Thread

Yea I am worried about mule deer and I can see hail being a big problem too. If I had a back yard I would erect hoop houses in a second and do what you say but that's not an option.

The early frost/snow is something that really worries me so I have relatively early plants. And hail can come any time anywhere so the only thing I can do is not put all my plants in the same locale.

This is going to be a see what I can get kinda thing. I am not counting on success, just rolling the dice.

I recently aquired so called Tangerine, AKA "The Tange" supposedly from Ft. Collins club In Harmony Wellness. Anyone had experience with this club/strain? Searches are misleading as that label has been used in quite a few different crosses/creations it seems. Through alot of time searching I was only able to find the link below that seems to describe what I got. I'm hoping that the following link is what I got and that the guys at In Harmony Wellness are legit:

Been to the club a few times a year or more ago. Also had some great tange to smoke (not from the club) but never grown her. If I remember correctly it is a short flowering sativa, and I was told the lineage but can't really recall... The smoke is great, really nice flavor.

Got a ton of experience with the tange. It came from an accidental pollination in a room. The momma is Flo. 100% The father could be several different variations, I don't think anyone knows for sure. I can def vouch for the guys there. They've been here since before the green rush and have their hearts in the right places. The Tange is a short flowering heavy yielding pig. You will fall in love with the smell and taste guaranteed.

anybody heard of a strain called MOFO? Got 2 little cuts starting to take off. I have a variation on the Tange, we just call it Tangerine. In flower she smell of GOJO hand cleaner. Strong diesel smell great flavor and throws on the weight.

Is what I hear about CO wanting for us caregivers to register our grows now as well? That would be a little crumby. I am happy about my dl profile. Really dont want that to change.

"(e) A PRIMARY CAREGIVER WHO CULTIVATES MEDICAL MARIJUANA FOR HIS OR HER PATIENTS SHALL REGISTER THE LOCATION OF HIS OR HER CULTIVATION OPERATION WITH THE STATE MEDICAL MARIJUANA LICENSING AUTHORITY AND PROVIDE THE REGISTRATION IDENTIFICATION NUMBER OF EACH PATIENT TO THE STATE LICENSING AUTHORITY. THE LOCATION OF THE CULTIVATION OPERATION SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL
ZONING AND BUILDING CODES. 13

If you grow for more then 5 patients or 30 plants you have to get one of these licenses:

"12-43.3-405. Primary caregiver cultivation license. A PRIMARY
CAREGIVER CULTIVATION LICENSE MAY BE ISSUED ONLY TO A PRIMARY CAREGIVER WHO IS REGISTERED WITH THE STATE HEALTH AGENCY PURSUANT TO SECTION 25-1.5-106, C.R.S., WHO HAS RECEIVED A WAIVER FROM THE STATE HEALTH AGENCY TO SERVE MORE THAN FIVE PATIENTS OR WHO GROWS MORE THAN THIRTY MEDICAL MARIJUANA PLANTS AT A TIME, AND WHO GROWS AND CULTIVATES MEDICAL MARIJUANA FOR THOSE PATIENTS. A PRIMARY CAREGIVER CULTIVATION LICENSEE SHALL NOT PROVIDE OR SELL ANY CULTIVATED MEDICAL MARIJUANA TO ANYONE OTHER THAN HIS OR HER PATIENTS OR THE PATIENTS OF ANOTHER PRIMARY CAREGIVER IF THE PRIMARY CAREGIVER HAS BEEN DELEGATED AUTHORITY OVER THE PATIENTS PURSUANT TO SECTION 25-1.5-106 (7), C.R.S.17

"SECTION 7. Repeal. 12-43.3-310 (14), Colorado Revised
Statutes, is repealed as follows: 12-43.3-310. Licensing in general. (14) The location of an
optional premises cultivation operation as described in section 12-43.3-403 shall be a confidential record and shall be exempt from the "Colorado Open Records Act". State and local licensing authorities shall keep the location of an optional premises cultivation operation confidential and shall redact the location from all public records. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a state or local licensing agency may share information regarding the location of an optional premises cultivation operation with a peace officer or a law enforcement agency.

The above was repealed, but I didn't see what was proposed in it's stead.

Who is making hybrids out here?.. not for sale but for personal and others.
Next month I will be crossing Trainwreck Bx1 to Juniper Stereo, XXX OG, Moroccan (landrace), Magic Merlin, and the white. Should get something interesting I am sure. May even send some of these in for testing here and thcf@rmer too.

Anyone have info on some great colored strains. DPD, PCK Sandstorm. Anything would be helpfull.

Anyone having trouble cloning Bruce banner #3? Seems to be a pain for me.

I got my Banner straight from the dude who made it (I say this only to imply that it is 100% the right bb3) and IMO, it is the easiest plant to grow/clone/top/train/whatever.

That thing is a champion and can put up with a lot. Skywalker OG gives me a VERY hard time, but this surprises me b/c Banner#3 is one of the easiest to clone I have.


Right now, I'm running the BB#3 cross from The High Country Jennifer Walters, and so far, it's got the same easy-ness to it.

current thinking - they will allow a 5 patient and under, and an over 5 patient caregiver status, with somewhat differening requirements.

While both catagorys will be subject to scrutiny, I'm betting many of the small time growers will recieve extra scrutiny, because there is a definite push on to make large op dispensarys the "Roche" of the cannabis industry. But with commercial goals - forget quality,,,,,

My Dr. will no longer write spefific larger plant count number endorsements, and he requires multiple visits - which - if I'm paying, I usually find a few new complaints. - Hey gettin old,,, well if it hasn't started for you,,,,, - you will find out.
It's like the horse and rider, over the cliff and falling, The rider yelling I said WHOA DAMMIT! -

Banner 3 = Easy to Clone
Chemdog 4 = Just a fucking bitch to clone, and even the mom is a finicky bitch, if the HUMIDITY gets too low the whole plant starts to die.......... WTF???!!!!!! I'd say on avergage it takes 4 weeks to root a clone, and even then, maybe only 50% success.

I got my cut of Banner 3 from the creator as well, handed freely to me after I showed up @ the shop looking for a C99 cut for like the 4th time unsuccessfully. The story that there is a fake cut of BB3 circulating is just that, a story. Someone needed to discredit what others had, to protect the sales of said genetics to other MMC's and growers. (I think someone told me it was going for 5 g's to other MMC's and $50 to private growers?). I upheld all the conditions on it that were given to me, someone I passed it to would've done so as well, until a spat over $ happened between him and the creator... Long story, but the short and curlies of it is: It's a nice cut, but DAMN there is some drama behind it!

I do know some of that is true. (Not ensuing any isn't) I personally know a few MMC's that sent people in to get it. Crazy. According to what I was told, someone, who was un-named to me, stole the cut and let it out, hence the initial "let go" of the BB3.

Quite frankly, I don't care either way. It's one of the top 3 I've ever had and practically grows itself if you watch the cal/mag.
