damn nice pics absolut, SH, spacecase....that PDP, tahoe OG, and grape ape look fucking slamming. CO is really on their shit...props.

A single patient can grow a total of six plants, three in flower, three in veg. Possession is up to 2 ounces, and as for apartment growing thats really a case to case situation.

Can someone clarify where the state is for growers right now? Sorry, I did do a lot of searches on icmag and elsewhere, but it appears vague and oft-changing.

How many plants can one single fella (non-caregiver) grow? How much dry bud? Is there is a precedent for harassing personal use apartment growers in Colorado?

Thank you so much.

Depends on where you move to. Some cities only allow you to grow your 6 plants... 3 veg 3 flower.

But when you get your card, you can get increased plant count or weight so you are allowed to have more.... but some cities still restrict that. So you really have to research the laws depending on where you live.

Some places you can grow outdoor etc, but in city limits not so much.

I see apartment growers all the time, if you are legit, you really have nothing to worry about.

Didn't realize a new CO thread had been started after the last CO fiasco here.

That is a good question.
One many people are still asking.
And when the moritorium ends and the next wave comes???
Legalsation initiative in 2012???

The train is a moving, but 'Casey Jones you better watch your speed!'

Basic rule of thumb is many apartment complexes may write into their housing agreement that MMJ grows are not allowed. For two reasons, one they want to insulate their exposure to forfeiture by the Federal government, and two because some assholes just cause problems. Appartment growing requires the utmost DISCRETION. Just because you have a constitutional right to do this, doesn't mean that you need to be 'that guy' pissing off the neighbors and flexing your rights.
If you get found, and they have that clause, I don't know. You either fight them over your constitutional right, move, or stop growing.
You rocking a 600w in your closet, no biggie.
Rocking 2K-4K in the spare bedroom, be careful, you really may want to consider single family housing.
Always, carbon, carbon, carbon!

There are still plenty of haters to go round, and theiving bastards (which worry you more than the haters).

Colorado? Best place on Earth?

BTW. I am in need of some Aspen local advice (good skiing, good food, good beer, etc.), if someone can hit me with a PM, I would greatly appreciate it.

good local aspen advice is to stay away. snowmass is good skiing. but the best vibes and skiing are in the southwest. wolf creek silverton, tride. all much better food drinks and people.
Aspen = hell on earth, imo.

Utah has good skiing.

Montana is the best.

Went to Snowmass today, and that is one of my favorite places. Ajax is a bit weak, and very little terrain.

I like the town of Aspen. Beats the hell out of Breck, and Park City as far as dining goes. I am a bit of a food nut, and good places to eat are paramount when I am on vacation.

Rich people don't bother me. I look at all the women with 100s of thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery, and bogner ski suits, and I just kind of laugh. Take a run and go to the Sundeck and drink wine. WTF is that?

There is literally no one here. Except for foreigners.

If you think Aspen is a joke, don't go to Cali.

The scenic beauty is amazing. Coming back makes me realize this even more.

I find it a bit disturbing, that because a hypothetical "hippie rich kid" gets a house... That you discredit most of the state. There are rich people everywhere.

If I were ever to buy/build another house in CO, it would be in Carbondale or Basalt, simply because I don't have the millions of dollars a house in Snowmass commands.

I love this state. I want to move back. However, the grow laws suck, compared to where I live now.

"Displaying or using the marijuana in public results in the added penalty of up to 15 days in jail."

From NORML
"Possession of one ounce or less of marijuana is a petty offense. The offender receives a summons to appear in court, and upon a promise to appear in court, the offender is to be released from detention. The maximum penalty for a violation is $100. Failure to appear at the specified time and location results in the increase of the charges to a misdemeanor. Displaying or using the marijuana in public results in the added penalty of up to 15 days in jail. Possession of greater than one ounce is a misdemeanor, punishable by 6-18 months in jail and a fine of $500 - $5,000, plus a $600 surcharge. Possession of greater than 8 ounces of marijuana is a felony, punishable by 1 - 3 years in prison and a fine of $1,000 - $100,000 and a surcharge of $1,125"

Where I'm from, you have ANY weed, youre going to JAIL. If you have any large amounts of weed, they get a search warrant..
In FLA, 20 Grams is a FELONY. We don't even get an oz. of leeway. 8oz! I almost never ride that dirty...sorry, but Im gunna have to side with CO on this one...

EDIT: take note, Im smoking a Regs joint right now simply because most growers here won't go over 25 plants, because Charlie Crist made it a Federal Offense!

Damn, fight club up in here this eve! Honestly, I've lived on both the East and West Coast, in rural, urban, and suburban areas. I've lived in and around Europe, and I've travelled extensively. Colorado people are some of the most friendly, well educated, informed, and well travelled people I've come across in this poor deprived nation. I can't really say the same about anywhere in the midwest!

I should also point out that, although growing cannabis has a history of being rather lucrative, most great grower's I've come across are blue collar workers by trade. Electricians, contractors, bartenders, cooks, and all around career drug felons seem to make up the best of the best when it comes to growers. It should be a reminder, we are GARDENERS and FARMERS...this has always been a working class gig!
