if you go out and get a gun for safety and to protect your home, business and do it the legal way.. i dont see the big deal.
its not even about being a tough guy its about the right to bear arms and the right to protect yourself from all the ugly people! :smoker:

Yeah. I'm thinking that I need to get something. Wife is adamantly against it. I am going to need to work on her for a couple of months.

Who needs guns???

You are in a fortified position!
Figure it out. They shouldn't be able to get into your house in the first place, but if they do???

Watch out for the 'ROUS's (rodents of unusual size).

I prefer Bear Mace (just make sure YOU have a gas mask handy), clubs, and kitchen knives.

Guns for show, knives for a pro.

I don't know about you guys, but the press is going on like he is some type of "martyr" for MMJ. The moron was breaking State Law, my only complaint about this "put me on TV" clown, was that the State allowed the Feds tobust him, instead of busting him themselves. This guy gives true MMJ growers a
Black Eye"...bragging about the $$ he was going to make, and not giving a damn about patients!:moon:
Really Mile Hi Dave???

Tell me EXACTLY HOW he was breaking STATE LAW!

I am not sure your transplant ass really knows what state law is.
But your avatar is accurate, you are here for the gold.

Edit: Not trying to be a dick, I just am.

better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it.

take a class and get the concealed carry permit while your at it. ;)

im always carrying, and treat everyone else as if they are to.

I was forced to go through the hunters safety course when I was a kid. Been around hunters and gun owners my whole life. So I'm not unfamiliar with firearms. My knowledge could definitely use some refreshing though.

AND...I have a squeaky clean record. I hear that makes getting the concealed carry permit really easy to get. True or not?

Wasn't he over the amount he was permitted for the amount of patients he had?

I've got a big wooden post just under my bed. I figured I'd just brain the poor bastard that broke into my house.

If guns and drugs are together and the Feds get involved there is a mandatory minimum.. Regardless whether or not your legally allowed to possess MMJ..

In my opinion you should never have a gun in the same place as your grow for this very reason.going away on a 4+ year bid for having a gun and herb would be pretty shitty.

Guns, and any weapons, should not only be anywhere near your stash or your grow for legal reasons.....its also bad energy for your plants....tell me I'm crazy, I'm a man of science, but I believe that the plants can sense positive and negative energy....and guns are negative energy.

BTW, whats up with the whole emerald rectangle thing?...if you are trying to disassociate yourselves from the Cali "emerald triangle" outdoor shit weed that is around everywhere....why don't we go with something more...UN-Cali.....something like, "Colorado Grows Better Weed than you....so go fuck yourself..."

I can't agree. Guns are just fine it's the idiot users that give guns a bad name. I'm still a coloradoan and I still have a DEEP connection to firearms. In fact, my pops used to be a class 3 federal arms dealer. That means full automatic for non gunslingers. Seriously though guns aren't the problem, the people who get them for wrong reasons. The gun is just an inanimate object ready to serve it's purpose.

I hear you, we still haven't changed the name...
It is supposed to be the 'Emerald Rectaltangle'!

We have yet to realize our rectangle.

As for being over his limit, NO!
Under STATE LAW he was fine, around 12-20 plants/patient (approx on bad info).

But Federal, 100 plant or over/house, big no, no.

Nothing starts the party like a semi-automatic shotgun packed with rock salt.

The second amendment isn't about hunting or being able to shoot a robber in your home. It's about being able to bear and stockpile weaponry that can be used to overthrow the gov't if they try to fuck you out of your rights.

Federal laws about guns and drugs together really screw us growers over. We are at a higher risk than the average joe to have a confrontation with a thief bearing deadly force. Concealed carry is a good idea for every citizen. But some non lethal alternatives would be more legal defence friendly for us growers. tazer, bear mace, club, a paintball gun loaded with pepper balls, martial arts are all good alternatives but if that robber has a gun your going to be outguned unless you have one too. A shotgun full of rock salt or a handgun loaded with rubber bullets are borderline to say the least. Can anyone elaborate on what the laws are concerning self defense and weapons near your grow?

IMO bear mace, tazer, offsite recorded security camera and two mean ass dogs will suffice. I have quite a few friends that come over, nine out of ten call before they come over to make sure the dogs are outside
