I would make sure to get paid for your work,but to kick out some freebies will help keep people backing up your reputation. As long as you don't "sell out" you can stand to make a few bucks for that work. I would wait until the completed work is done before naming it. Then you'll be able to pick out a name suitable to the qualities,history,and work that are part of it. (Your name here....Nepal Temple...Buddha's Purple Spaceship...etc,etc.)

Some time ago i read an article where DJ Short said he was wondering if his OPT ( i guess ???i can't remenber if he said OPT or the parents or else ...) had been "messed" with colchyne...any opinion on that ( as i just harvested some F13 i'm interested)! The rest is beyond my league!! Cheers

And I really agree with this: "I really like the idea of tetraploidy, it really can expand the plant we know today".

I thought about selling the seeds I will make (it will take me about 1-2 years to make the final version) but I will for sure send tons of freebees out to you guys! I wouldn't mind making a bunch of money for all my effort and time and studying tho!

First I will cross a female Thai 4n by a (masculinezed [sic]) female Nepalese 4n. I will take that F1 and self it to the S3 to S5 (selfed generations). Then I will cross the female (Thai 4n x Nepalise 4n) with a (masculinezed [sic]) female Afghan 4n. I will take that F1 and self it to S3 to S5 (depending upon when I see stabilization of traits); I won't go past S5. Once I have the S3 to S5 all female (Thai 4n x Nepalese 4n) x Afghan 4n I will give the seeds away and maybe sell them considering my variety should be WAY better thna most all others in terms of cannabinoids and yield...and much more unique (colors, bud and leaf size, seed size and color, etc).

Anyone want to suggest a name for the variety to be???

I agree with Capt. about getting paid, since you are putting in the time and effort, not to mention knowledge that very few would understand. Freebies would definelty be good to show people that good things can come from these experiments. Not to mention it would help prove how the plant grows in different situations in regards to different aspects such as plant variation and adaptability to different environments.

Sorry guys all of a sudden i got super sick, couldn't move for about 30 mins, i hate this nausea that comes up. I dont feel like myself so if my paragraphs dont make sense i'm sorry, even this nice indica i have isn't getting rid of it...

I really would like to see how these type's of experiments evolve...

I like your thought about TANGE, or maybe TNA-4N, or PTAN (Polypoid-Thai-Nepalese-Afghan)...but I agree with the Capt., I should wait unit it's done.

I have no idea, but I think most often when someone says variety X is a polyploid I tend not to believe them...

If someone wants to send me clones of Oregon Purple Thai I could check it out. What is the heritage of the F13?

Haha. Why doesn't MadL just go home if he doesn't like this topic? The only time i can see his posts are when someone quotes them...stop quoting him! (kidding).

What I find odd with the likes of MadL's opinion is "autotetraploidy" is common in the genetic history of almost all higher plants, and it has been shown that CANNABIS has polyploidy in it's rather recent history...so it's not like I would be doing something unknown to cannabis (ie. chromosome set doubling)...

P.S. BB88, you asked me about AM fungi by PM right? If that was you I will send you a PM very soon, I got stuck on this topic and the Co2 thread of Lazyman today (in the grow room design and equipment sub-forum), sorry!

All I can say is that must be some good smoke Mad. Is that indica dominant? Kind of looks 50/50.........

When I do start selling my seeds I would always offer them for free (or big discount) to medial growers and caregivers (one pack each of 5-10 seeds only so I don't get taken advantage of).

I assume I would charge $2.50 to $5 per seed, so that would be $25 or $50 for a pack of 10 seeds which are all female and better than seeds other breeders charge $15-20 each (ie. for all female seeds today one will pay $150-200 per pack of 10 seeds). And fuck Sensi Seeds and their $30 seeds!!!

Lol cheese I speak with the zeal of a convert, that's true.

My sense of blue Burmese is sativa high with an indica finish. I need coffee or tea or more smoke after an hour.

I didn't send you a message on AM, must've been someone else.

This indica i am in love with! We really don't get a lot of them here and the person who gave me the buds doesn't know the grower sadly. I should take some pics of it just so you can see why i want it(Sorry it didnt come out well) It smells of rip fruit and went good with the last of my hash, sadly.

Luckily, in my search for an indica i went with Grindhouse's Pre98bubba x TangTang.
