all warm air rises, indirect cooling is not very efficient. How could you force the heat up there when the heat source, the lamp, is in the lower part?

You have already answered your question..
Warm air rises, hence, I wont be forced to force the heat up since it's going up anyway.

Even if the plasterboard gets hot I can put some heat sinks above it and cool the heat sinks with the fan, as in computers.

Are You up an running ?
Please show lots of pics :thank you:
Sorry for the bad update guys!
Been super busy!

I am doing the vapor barrier now.
The reason why I'm doing this comes from experience actually.

I once grew in a living room (not this apartment) in a Secret Jardin tent, then the pots started to leak out to much water without me even noticing.
The tent of course couldn't handle it so my neighbors below me called the caretaker who called some plumbers to my apartment since my apartment was just above them.

Trust me...
Probably one of the worst days in my life.
Two plumbers standing in my door, trying to get in my apartment to "investigate" the leakage..

Luckily I got away with it, came up with some bull shit story why they couldn't come in that very day..

But anyway, this cant happen again. I am making sure of that! :good:

Yeah about that..
I bought two of Gavitas HPS lamps

http://www.gavita-holland.com/index...ormance-lighting/item/gavita-pro-1000-de.html

But it got way to hot when I tested them, even at 600w (and these lamps goes up to 1250w).

So I am going with Plasma as planned.
Might do a combo with LEP and LED, not sure yet.

Also got two of my three TD-Silent fans as well as my cloning machine - Turbo Kloner T144.

The fans are really quiet, my kitchen fan is louder than both together.

Outtake hole is complete.
Also the floor is more or less complete.

Going to put some reflective materials on the walls this weekend as well as lower the ceiling.

Got three plasma lights from Gavita (300w each).
Two different bulbs.

Have been super busy lately hence the slow updates!

Got the reflective material up on the walls now, and what can I say..
My closet just turned into the brightest room in my apartment even though it is just one CFL lamp.

Can't imagine how bright it is going to be with three plasma lamps

I also got a USB microscope for some close up pics on the ladies to come!

Thanks guys! =)

I have decided not to lower the ceiling for the first grow, this is due to various factors but mostly because of the already limited space.

Have been doing electric stuff all morning and I am about to fix the upper two fans now!

what strain ya gonna be runnin in there?

Good questions.
Haven't made up my mind yet, first I was into some indica strain due to the height but then I was thinking that I could scrog a sativa since I perfer sativas over indica.

Then a friend offer me some free AK seeds (autoflowering), I believe the yeild is pretty good from that strain as well (correct me if Im wrong).

So all the fans are up and running except for the wallmouting fans.
Will set up the lamps as well as the two final fans later this week.

So I ordered the seeds today (finally got my thumb out of my ass) and fixed the ventilation.

Temperature about 25,5 degrees Celsius (77,9 degrees Fahrenheit) and humidity about 30% (this value will rise when I put in the aeroponic system).

Measured 30cm (11.8) inches from the LEP lamps.

Even though I have room for 60 plants (12 pots x 5 holes in each) I will grow 12 plants this time.

I might be getting some LED lamps (the new 5w chip from Cree / Philips) when switching from the vegetative phase to the flowering phase.

The ozon generator will be on during the nights (when the fans are off) and the water pump will be working day time.
Lamps will be on 24/7 until flowering, then 12/7.

You have purchased some very nice equipment and the room is moving along well. I hope to see some nice plants in there soon.
I little question for you about the 12 different strain you are gong to run. All at once? Thought about differing hieghts and space needs depending on the strain? I would not try 12 different ones at once. You may be asking for some issues. Maybe I read that part wrong.
I will be following along. I would like to see your progress and results. What size closet?

You can find the size of the closet on the first page.
https://www.icmag.com/ic/attachment.php?attachmentid=178847&d=1345327268

About 3m from floor to the top.
Then the aeroponic system will bring the pots up a bit..
Maybe I should have chosen the Panda system instead..
http://gb.eurohydro.com/panda_aero.html

The plan is to have everything up and running in the end of next week.

Regarding the strains, this is just a side project for me.
Also, I am only growing 12 plants so each plant should have space enough.

And I can always scrog the plants if I feel that they grow to high.

It should however be enough space for each plant.

Yes they are!
And they are really quiet as well, at least the smaller ones.
The larger one does sound a little bit, but when I close the door to the closet I can't really hear it so not that much.

I'll see if I can get a hold of a decibel meter.
But my kitchen fan is louder so it shouldn't be bothering neighbors at all.

Although you can choose if you want it on full speed (louder) or half speed (more silent).
After all, it is the TD Silent series.
