I think it was covered, but WHERE you take the cut from on the plant is also tantamount to success

LOWER branches seem to root MUCH easier than say the very top shoot, and obviously, you really need a node or two down in the medium, as roots WILL grow from just a cut stem, but when you have a node, they FLY out!,.....seriously it's 3 times as fast.

keep at it, OP, and don't give up.

i was a first time cloner and i got 100% to root using this autowatering seed starting kit reccomended by mosca

roots at 8 days(no lie, i used dip n grow and roots excelurator aswell as some liquid karma)

Not sure if anyone mentioned this but some strains are harder to clone then others and take more time.
