That’s an interesting point.HPLVD can make a viney cut even more viney - could be that the second Genius clone was a sick version of the same cut you had earlier.

If you have my C99xThh they are most likely from the F6 C99 Fruit Punch mom x THH p1 open males (5males). I havent tested them but have about a hundred of those seeds left and They are in my tops to look at too.@LostTribe
I think I have some c99 x thh from you possibly…
The seedsman c99 x o. Haze is really a nice plant. The stems smells like the peakf6 c99
But the flower is similar to thai haze smell.

I tried that but had multiple deficiency issues. I been laid up having ankle replacement and tried a short cut. I’m making next year’s mix soon.equal parts promix perlite and happy frog with minerals and all the worm castings on hand.Miracle grow potting soil, with some worm castings on top.
The CMH light is washing out the color. The light is about 2' above the plant when I took the pic.
So far healthy and happy. They will be transplanted to larger containers once they show preflowers.
If they spend 3 weeks in there that would be a long time.I tried that but had multiple deficiency issues. I been laid up having ankle replacement and tried a short cut. I’m making next year’s mix soon.equal parts promix perlite and happy frog with minerals and all the worm castings on hand.
Hi @LostTribe , zamaldelica, thh and zamal, are these your top 3 of all time?If you have my C99xThh they are most likely from the F6 C99 Fruit Punch mom x THH p1 open males (5males). I havent tested them but have about a hundred of those seeds left and They are in my tops to look at too.
I am soaking some of my insane Zamadelica F2 off my old Mangu Carrot mom. Trip Face Fest in those. Top 3 smoke all time. Maybe 2. I got a tiny bag of little budlets from my mentor that I believe were either NL5Haze or Nevils back in the day that was top. He only told me that he got if from some oldtimers that kept it tight. Sort of BO funk but pearly looking and super high concentration of trichs with large heads. Perfectly grown. There were many professional glass house botany doctorates around in those days.
Could you be more specific about your experience with it? What was the high like? Did it lack potency? Its always been a hybrid so some indica qualities are expected. Just curious. I have a pack of these in the vault but I dont want another experience like i had growing Female Seeds c99, which was little more than a fruity indica with a weak buzzTRSC aka Kwik seeds cindy is not cindy. Period. Theres no purple in original cindy even at low temp. Those leaves do not look cindy. I grew several of those out after release and a complete waste of time.
I respect Angus and but I didn't like them is all I would like to say I am sure you understand. I have his Jamaican going now.Could you be more specific about your experience with it? I respect angus too but this strain is from "whish seeds", totally different but its all good buddyI respect Angus and but I didn't like them is all I would like to say I am sure you understand. I have his Jamaican going now.
Can’t just call it “Cindy Haze”.@LostTribe

' recollections may vary'Th oldschool Cinderella 99 i would get 20 years ago definitely had a little purple/blueish hue to it
But as you mentioned that could've been brought on by grow temps
My recollection is LostTribe, who did grows of the original turn of the century Bros. Grimm C99, was, like a lot of us here, searching for a C99 that was as close as possible to our memories of the grows of the original F1 seeds and clones of them that were common-place in the early 2000s. But, by 2010 or so it had become difficult to find C99 seeds that grew like the original and none of us had access to more original F1 seeds or clones of the F1 seed plants. So, LostTribe tried every C99 seed known to man to find what he thought most approximated the original - up to and including the disappointing Bros. Grimm comeback seeds that inspired this thread. The C99 F6 is the result of the best that he found out of the C99 seeds Peak Seeds was selling - he did a lot of breeding work to get to it and then generously shared the seeds to a lot of folks around here.I'm confused: I see posts about F6 C99 and wonder if those were open pollinations or were they 'selected'? 'Older versions' from 2015? That 15 years after the Bros were selling beans.
Apparently, I've been under a rock and missed all this stuff.
Nothing like horseshit and clay to make a Cindy happy.some cindys grown in horseshit and clay all from seed not clones
Thank you.Nothing like horseshit and clay to make a Cindy happy.
Sparkly in flower - vigorous in veg - beautiful plants, Dime!
I think mine was just that, good luck. From what I have seen here and around, most others didn't have the same type of plant I got in the first run. I popped 8 beans and only got one female from the original 12 (was given 15) which was the one I really liked. I ran the rest of the pack and went on to make seeds from that girl and a number of males from the pack, nothing I got from those seeds and the other 7 original seeds resembled that first girl and I ran a good 20+ females over the last couple years. Had one more female I found in the second generation of seeds that was also very nice, but was much more of a hybrid, had scraggly viney growth, would go a little purple at the edges and wasn't finished till about week 9, so not traditional Cindy by any means. I noticed a lot of variation in the seeds I made from the original pack so my guess is the instability and potential of other genetic influence would be why the kwik packs weren't so well received by those who knew the original Cindy. I found the 'keeper' girl worked very well into crossses instead of on her own.I respect angus too but this strain is from "whish seeds", totally different but its all good buddy
@Brother Nature had some luck with it but i just wanted to see other growers opinions
