Love it LostTribe. Appears you are getting close to becoming FoundTribe with this harvest.
Just smoked some FDM C99 and have to say a little beer goes well with it. This stuff is very energetic like speed and so beer mixes and mellows it all great. A lot of pot is too narcotic or mellow to mix alcohol with it.

The pics above are just as good as the ones I just took so they shall suffice for my final report.
Upon opening the jar I get an old school sweet n spicy yet fruity nose with a super greasy texture as I am accustomed to with this strain for the past two decades.
The smell is of old. It has spiciness combined with a sweet HI-C fruit punchiness. Leans more to the Jack side but it is also more Exotic in appearance, texture and taste so far. Just getting to 58% RH and steady.
Visually the buds are C99 spot on. Fluffy sativa buds covered in standing bulbous trichomes with that old school ripper psychedelic speedy run through. The come down is gentle.
I toked during a live show the other day in the midst of a bunch of dbags and slowly started to freak and peaced out to another location. small joint.
I also burned a B O dub before a meeting and it turned me into a vegetable introvert with the slight shakes and a slight creepiness.
Potent. Tasty. Quick. Sativa.
So Blessed to find this Sweet Sweet Cheeba!

PS, only issue currently is both cuttings although getting bigger and showing healthy roots appear to be auto flowering under 247 t5's. Plan to flip to 18/6 and possibly move back to HPS to blast them back into action.

Tribe Cindy #1 Smoke Report
This particular cutting is curing nicely and in front of the #4 by 3 weeks from memory.
Smell: Sharp citrus rind upon opening container with a light skunkiness in the background. Keep in mind it was accidentally seeded nearly completely in comparison to the #4. Upon de seeding and breaking up the smell become sweet sugary possibly pineapple with a light again possibly pineapple rind.
Effects: This one is a soaring then floating in the clouds. Hard to get things done because you re totally getting the Experience. Its a Head of the highest order.
Potency I will have to deliberate on with both. I will say this both are more electric and interesting than the majority of things I have run in a while.
Well the #1 is intensifying. Need to do a smoke report on the #4 when I am in the mists of her rather than after the fact. Only burned a normal sherlock spoon like 60 percent full of this. Gets a bit dazed. This would make magic with Zamadelica or the Oldtimers.
#1 was also quicker although the seeding may have had a bit to do with that as it set very early on.

I believe I chopped #1 on day 50 it was fully seeded and all seeds were mature very dark with similar marbling to the FDM and Old School C99 F1.
#4 I think I took to Day 54 which it might have gone longer but it smokes great. I fed her a bit more than the #1 too so maybe a little to much N late in bloom might have affected her.
I hope to have an opportunity to run them side by side in hydro vs the promix I ran last time.

Ok so what c99 is best like the old one? I'm confused
Through my endless search these Fleur Du Mal C99 are the closest I have seen in a very long time. Joey Weed didn't give me any sweet tasting plants and the high on the JW was foggy, where as the FDM is ON POINT. Loving these FDM so far.
I may revisit the JW and try in another media like the pro mix I ran the FDM in for a more consistent test. That would rule out medium interference in the final results.
Additionally, I just burned a nice sized chillum of the JW. Upon breaking up it has a chemical astringent smell not anything nice. Taste is pissy foul chemical and nothing sweet about it. That is the same problem I had with the Mosca and others I have tried. Taste and smell were way off. High at onset is lifting and nice but the taste and smell are not what I want to see on a C99. Again, may revisit these.
For now and for me its definitely the FDM C99 from Charles Baudelaire. Another point to consider is that since the time of around 2004 all of the reproductions I ran since gn03 had a foul taste and not nice smells. I have been reporting that since before Mr Soul decided to re appear. I find his c99 to be different. Trichomes are there but its not sweet and tasty. I also ran his New99 in the same pro mix with perlite and PBP that I just ran the FDM.
FDM kicked his butt. Very interesting plants and much more authentic smells and tastes. JW looks like c99, New99 looks and smells different than the originals. FDM smells and smokes like Cindy. JW isnt bad smoke but I doubt the taste will improve that much. In the same aero setup I had a CC Sour OG that was sweet sweet strawberry so I doubt the media had that much affect but may test it as I said later on.

Cindy Heritage Smoke report regarding her highs and lows
FDM:
2/3 plants provide a very very authentic happy soaring high. Onset is immediate. It did make me uncomfortable being around people a couple times so far. The smoke is great. Long lasting, happy with that old weird behind the eye feeling I used to get when I first started getting high. Definitely heady goodness. Makes me want to run outside and get to work doing something. Can't keep my hands out of the jar and its not going to last long enough so have to try and run both of these keepers asap along with the male I kept.
JW:
These as I stated the other day although better than the NewC99 from BG they do not hold the potency of the FDM. I don't get energy out of this smoke. I am not overly eager to go into the last half of this jar as its just mediocore.
BG New99:
Total let down after having sampled many ounces over the last 2 years I just don't like it. It has way more indica in it for certain. The initial onset has a dopey feeling, sort of laziness and couchy. Unable and unwilling to get things done. Also it creates a fogginess and has a very bad come down that makes me fairly nauseous. I still have some #4 but its not on my list of things to smoke and will probably toss this and the JW in with the rest of my old gear to make some back up RSO with.
Mosca:
Similar to the JW but the entire experience also left a great deal to be desired. Potency was nice but still left me desiring something better. Hence why I have kept searching. I felt the same for both the Bx1 and the F1. Just lacking and I still believe these are hybrids. Mr. Soul told me he believed them to have been crossed with a Skunk. Its a possibility.
FMS:
This stuff has hybrid written all over it. Everything from growth to smoke to smell tells me its been outcrossed. Herm'd too. High was just different. Also, lacking in potency.

I only had 2 of these that were female. Wasn't able to get another pack before they sold out and DG disappeared. Beefier version of GNO3. Not as good yet shared similarities.

This stuff was absolutely wonderful. Very very nice much like the originals with a bit more phenotypical expressions. Not as stable. Found my grail in these. Made many f2's ie f3's.

Mind Blowing Alien Shit. Enough said. First time puffing 2 buddies and me vaped on a new bong rig. Went to Lord of the rings part 1 in 2001. Hmmm that means HS had the seeds before I recalled. It was snowing like crazy that evening and when we came back out after a 3 hour movie roughly 4 hours after we vaped we were still so stupidly high that we could not figure out which car was ours as there was now 3 inches of snow on the cars and we had no idea where we parked. Just stupefying stuff. I will never forget that first encounter. Amazing.
Hope this helps. 18 years after first meeting this fine lady and losing her a couple years later until now to have come full circle. Its been a long hard road. Feels like finally coming home after such a long time, yet these new findings have made me believe that even better things may still be found.

I have to check but I think I have pics of finished buds from the Mosca Bx1, FMS, New99, JW and the FDM I may redo the initial post to include that and photos with a complete rundown of this trip.
Hope you are well bro! I am trying to decide between MM x NH21 vs MM x Thai 78 at the moment.....I keep telling myself I don't need both. Also going to grab some pure Mangu Kariot as I enjoyed the Zamal so much and trying to move towards old school landrace varieties. These recent indica varieties keep leaving me with a lot to be desired compared to something like MLI, gotta grab them too. Most leave me non functional and not motivated.
Thats probably the best thing about the FDM it is motivational. I can see where some inexperienced indica smokers might either not enjoy it or get the fear but I haven't had that happen in forever....

My keeper cut of C99 has finally come to the point where I can confirm that it is not only authentic but it is pretty damn fine. I even had to set a BO dub down after 1 big hit the other night because I had finally gotten to the point after a number of bowls that I was gettin an onset of that old timer fear.
Nugs have been curing for over 6 weeks probably more by now. Scent from the freshly opened jar is sweet fresh fruity with a bit of honey hash smell. After burning some I am getting a fruit punch and mango taste. Definitely some mango in there and I even bought a super ripe one to compare close to overripe.
Just sitting here with a big shit eating grin!
This hairy girl is so thick with red hairs you can't see the nice tall and coated trichomes lying underneath. Amazing red hair and thick.
Although the finished photos appear similar to my New99 aka BG c99 2017 the essence is completely opposite side of the spectrum. BG is Indica and the taste is not anything Cindy.
This is definitely Sativa leaning and its hot quick fire with a decent yield and a sweet kick. #4. Cutting I took is coming around but its hot as hell and taking forever to veg. Gonna be a bit.
