Tonado, I got these through a friend. He got them from Mosco Negra. I'm not familiar with mosco Negra, but whoever it is did a great job keeping the original phenotypes of C99 in the genetics.

Something about the fact that someone, a hundred years or more from now can be rummaging through an attic and find copies of High Times and read my words again... provides special motivation to keep writing. nice job with her mon. I luv the pineapple smell of the C99, but I find it smells very similar to NL. Have you noticed the flat charcoaly smell to the cindy?

TheHashAssassin, I've never gotten anything like Northern Lights, or a charcoaley smell at all from C99. What C99 did YOU grow! hehehe I HAVE gotten some phenos from C99 that tasted nothing like C99 should, and maybe they were a little like NL, but I can't remember ever thinking, 'boy, these smell like charcoal!' hahaha!

hmm maybe you got a good one. i never noticed the charcoal taste til I had it pointed out to me, but when it was I did notice a flat taste in there underneath it all that was charcoaly. it sounds tho like maybe dude could have bred that out, if so wicked. as for c99, i did it from seeds and from cuts. Looked exactly like yours for the pineappley phenos, and then there was the grapefruity pheno that is shorter and has slightly more rounder buds. wicked hash producer.

also I should note that its when the cindy is picked early, like 6 weekish when most merch farmers in BC pick, that I find it smells similar to the NL that goes around up here. which kinda makes sense since Cindy = Jack Herer unknown X, Jack Herer = NLxSkunkxHaze in whatever order. methinks random genetic terpenoid throwback? for the NL like smell.

Real nice CC, looks like a resin machine , what's the story with C99 and Brother Grimm?, i remember reading it was from Jack Herer seeds found in bud(s) bought in the Dam but how come they stopped making C99 beans?

Hazeseeker, Yeah, Bros Grimm found the seeds in a bag lebeled Jack Herer. I'm not sure why, but the Bros Grimm stopped breeding altogether years back.
