Are these going to be back? Or does anyone know where I can find any?

I've really been hoping to get my hands on some pure China Yunnan after experiencing a Yunnan dominant variation of O.E. any tips appreciated.

Good news dear friends :) Pure China Yunnan has been re released in pure form after not being available in regular format for almost decade:

https://www.aceseeds.org/en/chinayun...ularseeds.html

We expect our retailers will start to offer this release very soon. Here's the official updated strain description:

CHINA YUNNAN

EXOTIC AND RESINOUS ASIAN VARIETY WITH PENETRATING AROMAS AND PLEASANT EFFECTS

This exotic pure strain, a probable link between indicas and traditional sativas from South Asia, shows characteristics of both spectra of cannabis.

On the one hand, it grows with a robust and compact structure, developing beautiful broad leaves and an indica hash plant appearance. Its flowers mature quickly, with abundant resin production and penetrating aromas. On the other hand, it has a touch of Asian sativa, which can be felt at the beginning of the effect, in some of its woody aromas, and in the morphology of some taller, more branched plants with narrow leaves.

It is a genetic line that maintains good vigour at the population level and offers productive specimens, preferring stable temperatures, a dry environment and a large amount of nutrients to achieve its best yields. And although production suffers with lower final temperatures, the resin quality improves greatly in colder conditions.

Most plants produce high THC and low CBD chemotypes, with potent, warm, pleasant and relaxing effects. Occasionally you can also find plants rich in both THC and CBD, not so psychoactive in effect, but offering excellent properties to combat depression as well as mental and emotional stress.

From the bottom of our hearts, we happily offer the cannabis community this rarity, barely introduced in modern breeding. We hope you preserve it and use it in your breeding projects.

AVAILABLE IN STANDARD FORMAT
LANDRACE STRAIN (P3)
80 % INDICA / 20 % SATIVA

FLOWERING INDOORS: 8-9 WEEKS
FLOWERING OUTDOORS: END OF SEPTEMBER / EARLY OCTOBER
YIELD / M2: AVERAGE-HIGH
RESISTANCE AGAINST SPIDER MITES: AVERAGE-LOW
RESISTANCE AGAINST MILDEW: AVERAGE
RESISTANCE AGAINST BOTRYTIS: AVERAGE
RESISTANCE AGAINST WHITE FLY: AVERAGE
RESISTANCE AGAINST COLD: AVERAGE-HIGH
RESISTANCE AGAINST HEAT: AVERAGE
LATITUDE: 0º-45º
THC: 8.50-17.22 %
CBD: 0-8 %
CBG: Up to 0.35 %
Terpene profile: It mainly contains the following monoterpenes: big amounts of alpha pinene, beta myrcene, limonene and beta pinene, and lower amounts of fenchol, camphene, borneol, ocimene and phytol. Sesquiterpenes: mainly beta-caryophyllene, guaiol and humulene, and traces of bisabolol, caryophyllene oxide and nerolidol.

GENETICS: 3rd generation Indica-dominant line from Yunnan, a province of southeastern China on the border with Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam.
STRUCTURE: Robust, with short internodes. Indoors with a short growth period, it produces columnar plants with large central buds. Outdoors and with more growth, its develops a well-branched, ball-shaped structure.
BOUQUET: We found 3 main terpene profiles in this variety, which can appear combined in each individual example to a greater or lesser extent. The first is the creamiest and most sweet & sour, reminiscent of the blend of aromas from a Chinese restaurant. The second profile is darker, organic, with incense, and hashish. The first two groups produce denser terpene profiles and are more prevalent in indica expressions. The third, also very organic, but with more woody and floral influence, is more commonly found in expressions tending towards the more sativa side.
HIGH: Cheerful, expansive and visual at the onset. Warm, pleasant and relaxing in its development and final phase.

GROWING TIPS

Adapts exceptionally well to indoor grows with artificial light. In order to obtain the best indoor results, we recommend warm temperatures (of around 25ºC) during the growing and the 4 first weeks of flowering. In the last month, lower down moisture and temperature to 20ªC during the rest of the flowering stage.

Outdoors, we recommend warm, dry climates. Excellent results throughout Southern Europe.

Genetic analyses carried out on China Yunnan show that this variety has a unique genotype, with moderate genetic variability, showing direct kinship with our China Yunnan hybrids: Orient Express and Kali China.

Excellent landrace indica to cross with sativa strains, since it easily produces hybrids with enormous yields, fast flowering and interesting aromas and effects.

We recommend moderate-high levels of fertilisers throughout the growing cycle, respecting the dry cycles of the substrate, and avoiding excessively long periods of wetness (particularly in the more indica-leaning specimens).

I have some fems from a few years ago that I never got around to popping. But Orient Express was one of the first Ace offerings that I grew and it was an amazing plant. No doubt it was mostly the China Yunnan influence that I was responding to so much. Thanks for releasing this great line to the community!

Looks delicious :yummy: goingrey Do you like the effects ?

Thanks dubi! It's great. High potency, much more than I was expecting from this kind of heirloom genetics. Maybe a little bit antsy or overstimulating at first (sensible people might say the dose was too high) but it really mellows out afterwards. Not a knockout indica but not exactly active either; best for vibing out to music or something like that.

Hey all, my China Yunnan is still very small. It's in a 35 gallon grow bag. Today all the plants got watermelon and pineapple pureed in a blender with lake water, poured into the fungal repositories in the soil.

Now that I have access to these types of fruits, my greenhouse is going to explode in growth. It gets fun in a hurry.

Hello friends,
Here's a picture of the China Yunnan plants in the beginning of August. Then my two Orient Express plants and a picture of both my Ace Lebanese plants as well. I just put them all here instead of doing multiple posts in different threads.

All of these genetics as you would expect are fantastic! This allows me to focus on my environmental conditions and not worry about plant health concerns. I finished collecting pollen from my Zamaldelica male this morning, then he was culled. I didn't take or post pictures of him. Everyone has what they like or dislike in parental donors, I'm not going to expend the energy of justifying or defending my selections.

My opinion is that he is going to be a great male to work with and the girls are in agreement with me. 1st Orient Express plants then the 2 Lebanese ladies already forming what will be 4' long colas. The China Yunnan plants are last.
