I love nature and I hunt too got a little farm going mostly so I don't need to eat too much of that mass produced crap in the grocery stores full of poison.

you're getting way carried away. chicago is roughly 6x11 miles and 5+millon people. this news is just sensationalism. densely populated areas have crime. it's facts. especially when there's such a disparity between the different neighborhoods in chicago. couple that in with deliberate shuttling of certain people to certain areas. look at a map of chicago neighborhoods most segregated city ever existed. and making it so only some neighborhoods have decent access to good schools and etc...
"some" neighborhoods don't even have grocery stores and banks, just mcdonalds, liquor stores and currency exchanges.
if you wanna be all like "it's because those people are all violent 'animals'" whatever go right ahead, but it's not really that at all, it's a concerted effort by the rich powerful and etc to keep things a specific way so they can fill their pockets.
