Unfortunately this has been building for a few years now..

It's pretty common knowledge that the Sinaloa cartel has pushed into Chicago and made it their 'main hub' of distributing - at least East of the Rockies...

That's a large majority of the violence that Chicago has been experiencing... The drugs in the pockets of the kids killing eachother on the street corners, is mostly Sinaloa in origin..

It's horribly unfortunate..


As always, in cities across the country, when the weather warms up, tempers get short and things like BBQ incidents become all-too common.. But, Chicago has deeper wounds than that "normal"..

It's essentially a rinse/repeat of what's happened in Mexico,
But that started about 10-12 years ago, and now they're killing folks by the dozens (in Mexico).. long enough ago that most people dont readily recall it..

It all started with drug routes, and the mexican cartels fighting - over 60,000 dead, another 20,000 missing, over a 6 year period.. Estimate put both of those numbers higher, but those are the "lower limits".... Which makes Chicago look like a warm-up/scrimmage..

I'm not from Chicago, but I'm all too familiar with how both Mexican cartels and inner city gangs work - and this is practically, exactly how it's gone down south of the border..

Ciudad Juarez comes to mind..

Started over drugs and territory, turned personal over the high amount of deaths, and the folks doing the shooting now were in elementary school down to diapers when it all started...

None of them really know what its all about, are educated enough to put it all together, nor have the means to put an end to it... So it's a self-feeding cycle until something/someone gives them a reason to be better than they are..

The cartels are "smart enough" (not the right term, but I'm lacking here) to play 'both sides' against the middle.. So the cartels start pushing more weight to all sides than any side can handle individually, which, because every side is 'starving', they all try to expand into each others neighborhoods... I'm talkin like 10 years ago.. So they start pushing block-by-block against each other, for the money, because of the Cartel pressure, and the cartels dont play..

So then the cartels essentially count money and watch the news, here in the US - they're just as busy dying in Mexico though - and keep the routes open to keep the pressure up on all sides, to keep the money coming... Even when one side hits a lick on another, cleaning out a whole stash house or emptying someones pockets - the cartels still win because the product just moved from one 'worker' to another.. They still get their cut, in the end..

If it wasn't their own product, even better for the cartel, because that just means they stole another cartels profits without any personal risk..

So the cartels cant lose in America
And the hood cant win

The cartels take it to the bank,
And the hood takes it to the cemetery

Now it's to the point that if the cartels can keep the hood 1) young, 2) uneducated, 3) with a gun in their hand - the cartels can keep the money moving

Cutting off the cartels could have fixed it a few years ago, but there's so much anger and bad blood now that even if the drugs/suppliers disappeared, Chicago would still keep shooting itself simply out of anger...

Just by re-legalizing drugs that were legal 100 years ago in the US -
cocaine, opiates, & marijuana - and ephedrine.

Unless the US government wanted to programmed them all to keep quite and kill each other and buy CIA sanctioned drugs, seems the plan is working perfectly as far as I can tell.

Lol... Guns are legal in Illinois always have been. Just couldn't have a handgun legally in the city of Chicago for like 25 years. But anyway, the gangsters have guns and so do the guys they're shooting at the cops and the enemy gangsters. Gun availability has never been the issue. You sound like you think they just go around shooting at random people. It's gangs shooting at other gangs. With innocent victims in the crossfire and cops sitting around eating donuts waiting for all the danger to be over so they can come pose for the media's cameras which will sensationalize the story to scare you whichever direction they need you moved. Cops primary function in Chicago is ignoring crime unless it occurs in some way to detract from the tourism. Just go to any of these bad neighborhoods full of thug scum as you call em and just stand around for an hour and tell me how many cops you see pass by, and in that same time frame note how many crimes you spot and how many happen as the police are around.

The only restrictions citizens of Chicago ever had on guns was no pistols allowed. You could always drive to Walmart and buy a shotgun. Nothing was ever stopping law abiding citizens from protecting themselves from thugs or any other types of negroid. You want license to carry guns and shoot black guys in the street. Just admit it.
