jlp- dont be sorry man, keep doing what you do. im still going to run the (chem x ?)x c99 to see how those turn out. with some strains, as im sure you know, they only show certain tendencies in the offspring. 
jaykush- yeah, check out fj's posts about culling his fems and stretch's about having to harvest one early and do a bit of naner-plucking on the others.

Yeah JLP- Thanks and keep it up, even with the plethora of beans available online it's just as exciting to receive a couple of yours. I'm going to give a cut another try or two as things get more and more dialed in.
It must have come from the ChemxMS.I've grown the C99 f2 long term and I've never seen it herm.In fact,one time I was going to try and self the C99 by messing with the light cycle.I set my light timer to come on for an hour every day in the middle of the dark period.I did this for a solid month on 3 fems and not one sac appeared.

yeah jlp, the chem x ms was probably the product of one of them throwing a few nanners, as they are clone-only (unless im mistaken). you said those beans were gifted from jason king, right?

Bump bump... no we're not done with this thread yet!
Three of my 4 girls have been dried and smoked already, if you can believe it!
It's been our personal favorite stash for sure... as the other strains sit in jars for now.
This was the last girl, dried shot, about 2 weeks in the jars.
It has a pungent chemical fruit smell I describe it. I can def. smell the c99 daddy in there.... I brought some nugs to HappyHempHog to sample. After his eyes were uncrossed and he had gotten back in his chair, I think I heard a "duuude can I get a cut?" in there somewhere.

fine lookin buds stretch, sounds like some nice smoke.
outta my 5 plants, i tossed the mutant, two males, and a thin weak one. all four of those were fairly close in appearance and growth, much more sativa lookin plants. i kept the smaller, phat leafed, slow growin plant. shes a few weeks into flower, and looks like shes gonna be a stout little plant, small can and small plant to look at.
turms out, and ill revegg. yeah stretch i aint given up on this thread either, Spacedog99

All of my phenos were fairly uniform too. Those shorter and broader plants will produce some fine fine smoke my friend.... and they worked well with a topping having multiple colas.. I liked this method. I think LST on them would work wonders as well.. And actually that's the pheno I ended up keeping a cut of...
