Your pics & description were my inspiration for requesting these freebies & my attempt to germ these bad beans.
Unfortunately my success was nil in both attempts to germ these seeds.
Zer0 outa 20 showed.
The second set of ten seeds appeared healthier than the first set and about 5 shells actually cracked upon soaking. 1 produced a slight tail about 1/8 in long then they all got moldy.

My luck fizzled out, I got all 5 2 germ with nice tails but 2 failed to sprout above soil, 1 sprouted from the soil but has not grown at all in 12 days, I gave the runt a shot of seadweed yesterday and some sunlight today to try to get it going, the 2 others that actually sprouted above the soil are both very vigorous.
These are weird seeds, the ones that grow are so vigorous, then you have straight up duds. If I remember correctly I had germ issues even when the seeds were new.

I bought them in 2010, I forget what I paid maybe $80.
It was my bad I sat on them for a long time. If I get one sour female like I had in 2010 I'd be happy. I have a few hundren SD IBL seeds in the fridge so worst case scenario I could always hit a good female with some SD pollen.
Funny thing is, I just started a few A11 seeds I made in 2008 and they germed like they were made yesterday. There was probably something up with these CDSD seeds from the beginning.

That's completely suc!How you can grow it if you good know history of these breeders.
Can definitely see the similarity in this #2 plant of the couple of f2's I ran so far.

so far so good , about 5 weeks in F ,looks like she has a ways to go . it's pretty big , about 3 feet wide. I think i read somewhere that she doesn't like 1000 watts and to run it under 600 ? anyone know ?

Here is some more of her. Hey DJ, Is she ChemD clone for female and SD IBL Rez for male?
She is getting another batch of clones taken from her this week and the BX from the 5 ChemSour x MM studs are pollenating the first batch of clones too, they are in day 10 of flower and will be getting dusted on day 17.
Anyway, She will be everywhere soon... and yes, strongest herb in my garden... There will be many X's of her. I am working with GG4 and a lot of Glue crosses, as well as Chem x's from Topdawg and Denver Diesel which is a Chem mashup... any studs found in these will be crossed out with her too... But the first project underway currently is the Cubing back to the mama ChemSour to get her in stable fresh bean form.

Nice dank frank. This looks like the silvery Chem pheno IVe been finding in the beans that VenturaHwy made. Theyre Chemdawg Sour d x Sour d, F2s I believe. Stellar females everytime. Majority are sour leaners, a cpl fire chem dom keepers, maybe 1 in 5..
Im going to start germing some of these soon myself. They do excellently outdoors for me. Never any mold issues, great yeilders, and excellent smoke. Im gna be looking for a keeper female this round, as im getting low on seed. VenturaHwy was very generous with what he made, so IVe been sharing them along also. Been growing these beans since 2012, always find excellent plants.
The Sour phenos, are all unique in their own way, very unique terpene profiles, makes me smell them over and over and over... cant get enough..

Well i pulled a tiny nanner of it tonight 
And there's virtually no smell , maybe a hint of fresh pumpkin . I'm guessing from other peoples pics that it should be wreaking ? it's at about 6 weeks and still looks like she has a ways to go .
Is it a dud ? should i pluck nanners off as i see them and let it finish ?

Chem Sour was well known for producing nanners, I got some on mine when I ran them years ago, just pluck off what you find they shouldn't do much harm.

Out of my 3 viable seeds I ended up with 2 females and some freaky runt that hasnt shown sex.
I was really hoping to get 1 male so I could make some more seeds but I guess 2 females is better than no females.
