you are exactly right. even my clones change over the years, completly diff. look. the do keep a lot of the same smell and high most of the time but even that can change. so just because someones pic doesent look like one 10 to 15 years ago doesent mean its a fake.

Genetic drift of clones is real. Clones change over time. Strains cloned many, many times over the years lose vigor, taste, smell, and become hard to clone. Clones taken from the same mother change over time. I can get one version of the Sour Diesel which is more chemmy and stronger and there's another version the AJ cut, that's more a Sour taste and is not as strong but seems to yield better buds. Both cuts came from the same mother and have been here for a long time.

The same plant or cut can look diff depending on it's environment and methods of cultivation..i'm a botany major from Humboldt State U, and it sad to see the name game be what's hott!!! You know if it's the real chemdog if you got it from the guy who started it, other than that it's strictly hearsay...if you like it, grow it.

I posted that yesterday, nobody seemed to think much...Why isn't chemdog in on this chat or does he post here?? I'm a newbie to this forum stuff, so excuse me if that's common knowledge.

Without taking anything away from High & Lonesome, who did a great job with this, the most interesting thing in this whole fucking melodrama is that some guy bought something like a 600 dollar (in 2007 dollars kids) Zip and the shit wasn't even sinse???... I've never even found a single bean in a 300 dollar oz.

Seriously though, the original genetic comes from the some Emerald Triangle herb and hasn't shown up or isn't present in any other form anywhere else? No one has any idea what the P1s were? There's so much hype I realize it must be bomb, but what I don't buy is that it's that unique/extraordinary. I'll see soon with some stuff derived from these genetics.

Also about the lineages H&L posted, "OG" in OG Kush supposedly stands for "ocean grown"--doesn't that imply it was from somewhere near the coast? Lake Tahoe's big but I never heard anyone call it an ocean. Just wondering. I would love to know where the name "Kush" came from.

nspecta- you are correct, chemdog got the mss from skunkva from the accounts i've heard. anybody know if skunkva is still around?

Well here are some shots of the infamous (sp) 91 chem

I cut it a tad early do to a plethera of reasons. Yield is low and these plant were a bit sressed but it the real deal chem from back in the day. Please dont question the cut!!! This is it trust me
