Sorry for a kinda impundent newbie question but could someone take a minute to explain what so special about Chemdog to the one who have never smoke it and far from 'elite' clone circles?
Can't find any smoke report that mentioned anything special aside mostly its heavy potency.
I mean is it really possess some unique qualities in its effect? Or is it just No. 1 among those overpowering hybrids that put your on your knees with raw power, delivering kinda chemical intoxicating shock?
If you allow then same questions for OG Kush, Sour Diesel and Bubba Kush..

Ok I'll try to answer ya ???? But its all matter of opinion..... Right now I happen to have a jar of d 4 and sis along with sour and atleast like 5 diff ogs..... What makes chems special well yes they are very potent but each has a uniqueness to it that makes them stand out among most others.... They all have a chemmy fuely funk to it to a degree.... But they also have distinguishing notes .... Such as the chem d is rotten meat dirty gym bag garlic funk I know it sounds bad someppl hate it I personally love it....the 4 is much more pleasant on the nose and smells like citrus fuel some say lime some say orange def not lemon grown right some of the tastiest out of all of them much more appealing to the masses... The sis is not as rotten as d but still has the funk that is idk just odd..... Sour Is sour has the same fuely chemness as chems with a very suspect sour sour sour lemony flavor that shoud overwhelm again if grown right is unmistakeable..... Bubba well i don't think bubba has nethang to do with chem or sour but is straight kush flavor if ya now hat I mean.... It's got a dark earthy coffee hash flav not a sour fuel smell or flav to it ... Closely related to master and lvpk kush ends of the spectrum....Og now that's a whole other mess of shit.... Some lean kush some lean sour some lean piney some chemmy/fuely ..... The best ones IMO have all of these qualitys combined which is prob why it's my fav of the 3 evils... I'm not gonna get into each specific og it'll take all day and I'll miss Super Bowl typin but quick example is that Sfv is straight lemon pine fuel where as Tahoe is more piney then lemon and then sky walker which is more on the kushy side of the spectrum..... One thing bout og is that the all have that special thing that when u hittin it u know right away it's og not sour not chem it's just that unique... Hope I answer ur ? A bit I'm sure others will fill in more... But to answer ur original ? Notheyarenot just hybrids with devasting power they are the whole package and if u do get the chance to smoke any of them after a few hits u see why... Shiet u prob see what I'm talkin bout when the bag gets pulled out and u get that funk smell in the room...good luck mang hopesomeofthese flavs hit ya area.... Ud be surprised they are really everywhere now just gotta look ...
Great thread cc love the 4 probably my favourite in the chem family, yield taste structure and as cc said a well rounded high that it hard to beat. The 4 breeds well and some of te better hybrids to look at are stardawg, 4sd, chem4d, chem4x otm, quad jacks by sin city, I have seen pics of all of these hybrids that are straight killers.

my friend runs a Chemdog Sour D that smells perfect, open a jar and fall in love perfect, snagging her when i can. Taste compares to the smell, FUNKY, and think creamy smoke

my goal is to have a stud stable, I would rather have stellar males from seed then female, elite clones are a dime a dozen these days on the west coast, they all are dying to be hit by something other than Space Queen, hehe
