Smoking a bowl of blueberry from the last harvest....and watching the cheese and HimG poke their new heads above the soil.

Gonna have 500W of CFL running during flowering...250 under a nice reflector...also 2 X 125W dropped down on cords....although thinking of floor mounting them pointing upwards in the cabinet.

Whatcha think? Too easy for shit to fall onto the light?

Hi bro thanks but I'm a pl-l head - 4800lm from a 55w and a bit more suited to micro. They come in those aquarium kelvins also. I have all the pl lighting stuff ready to go in the new cab :)

For the recently finished grow I used coco + chem hydro nutes but morphed over to half chem/half organic. My current grow is all organic potting mix & compost teas etc. Peace.

Looks great, but with twice the light you would easily double the yield. How? You buds would grow taller and fatter

its a small box like around 80cm x 80cm,dont want to make something bigger.now i start another strawberry with updated lights 3x25wats and the result is much better.the best is when the strain is closer as much as it can to the bulbs.i will post pictures soon for my new lady.

80cm by 80cm is huge area---
im trying to understand your process...

3--23 watt cfl could barely cover 1 sq ft

ADD MORE LIGHTS

hey everybody, I just wanted to show you my CFL setup and what I produced with it :)

it's all very jerry rigged and homemade, but isn't that what's so great about CFL's?

those two lighting arrays combined yielded me 5 ounces of bud in just 3 months from two plants. the plant pictured below had a single main bud that was the size of my forearm and weighed 32 grams! :yay: Who says CFL's aren't awesome?!

and here's my favorite pic of all time, a testament to the quality that's possible with some CFLs and some TLC
