I used to have a 2000 TL that was dumped on 19 inch deep dishes, had beat tints, exhaust, nice car.

But now my trade requires me to drive something less flashy, so now i rock a Lexus Rx300 which is a total BORE and drives like a mini van, but people look at me and think...."law abiding citizen" which is whats most important to me.

Nice choice Nokuy, a buddy of mine has a TRD FJ, and loves it. We drove the mohave trail last year, and one of the other FJ's in our group had that tent. Pretty sweet, but it's heavy. Still, much better than trying to sleep inside the FJ (just too short).

i guess this year or next is the last that they are gonna make this version of the FJ. fine w/ me...maybe will make the resale value more...not that i would sell mine, but always something good to know.

not alot of FJs here in TX, but fuck there are a shitload in colorado...thats where i was when i got mine.

..also gettin new wheels...im price shoppin like a mofo...but i gotta have that black matte teflon coated american racing gear.

...also ill be back inb a bit to show ya proper sleeping quarters "inside" the FJ

Hands down the favorite car I ever owned, and I was a dumbass for wanting to go fast with it, destroying its driveability and practicality and ultimately having to sell it....

Any of you guys like driving games for xbox or ps3 ?
Xbox 360º? forza 2? GRID? DIRT? all great games, im 3/4's of the way done with Grid, the game is awesome. They have all sorts of classes from usmuscle to european touring to gt1,2, le mans, even DRIFTING. The grafix are amazing and they added a new feature called 'falshback' where if you crash you can rewind up to a certain point and *flashback to a point and time before the crash so you can re-play the corner without crashing , the game is super amazing (almost better than forza 2)

scarecrow that is a super clean koukie. i want a clean koukie shell to swap all my after market parts over but it might be hard to find with the drifting bug everyone and there grandmothers wants one so i will problably have to pay a premium.

s-15's are cool but the right hand drive would drive me nuts trying to go through drive throughts and learning to shift with my left hand hehhehe.

one day i will own a quad rotor FD. everyone says the rotarys lack torque but they just havent driven one with more rotors . i will be replacing apex seals like it is going out of style ,a redline a day keeps the rebuild away.

My dream car used to be a First Gen Fastback, with s-15 front end, deep dark blue on gold Advans.

I owned a 89 240 pignose for a while. loved that car to death.

My friend bought a 98 240 that he pumped lke 15 grand into, it had a SR20red top, kouki front end, full exhaust and rims, everything, the car was a BEAST.

sometimes just raw power thru cubic inches and NOS gets the job done...0-60 in 1.2 seconds, low 9 second 1/4 times...one finger on the wheel...she track and drives straight with zero effort or hassles...

I am not so sure about your 0-60. Doesn't make sense.

A Hennessey Viper Venom 1000TT, has a 1100 horsepower twin turbo V10, and does a quarter in 8.9, but reaches 60 in 2 seconds.

Quickest 0-60 I have heard is 1.9 from a 94 10.0L SVT Boss Mustang.

LS/Vtec isn't worth the cost and effort to go all motor.

To perfectly honest, Vtec is just one more hurdle to jump during tuning.
Save the money and build the b18b and boost the shit out of it.
Spending you money on sleeving, port/polish and valve train upgrades and you would be MORE the happy.

If you like all motor, then build a b16 to run 11-13,000rpm. B16 will handle it. I've seen bullet bikes have the parades rained out by a peppy gutted EG running a B16 @ 13:1 compression.
