The only thing better than little critters, are little critters that eat other little critters, and optimal plant health, which doesn't seem to be a factor in your case.

I've never seen a plant with a purple stem.

Way back when I started growing (2012) I tried my hand at
using soil... This was the mix I stated with and at the end
of the season I placed into covered trash cans outback.

About 6 months ago I dumped the soil into a spot and mixed in leaves,greens,eggs,coffee grounds then dumped my Turface,coco,perlite used mix from 2013 on top and covered with
screening,which was covered by leaves...lol

1 bg Fox farm ocean forest
4 bags earthgrow potting soil
2 bags green mix organic blends
1 sm bg MG Organic choice Blood meal
1 sm bg MG Organic choice Bone meal
Bis ass bag of prelite
med bag of peat moss



No particular reason why I did it this way beyond it seemed
like a good way to go at it...

I've started prepping the space for a plant or 2 this summer...
Hoping to use this soil in 2 years for my 1st living soil kiddie pool....:woohoo:
At this point it's a big worm farm...lol 100's....

I've got lot's of work to do cleaning and treating the
yard but at least I've started...lol
Been missing working on my trees out back...

The bug pics are giving me the heebie jeebbeez... If I saw that shit outside I would burn my clothes and shower 3 times before I would be able to tend to my girls again. What are those bugs anyhow, the pill looking motherfuckers?
