I'd rather not mix my own conconction
I have other things to do...

like not wanting to have to get a second microwave, "just for chemistry", to mix my own boost, thank you hahaha.
20 pages on how to make your own mix...
not 20 seconds... 20 pages?
I am not a scientist or a chemist I am a simple pot farmer.

you checked out the mbferts website?
not a very professional presentation to me
i mean i know they are a wholesale supplier, so they don't need the slickest marketing, but they look like Mad Farmer Wholesale.
thats a turn off for me. the logo character... ehhhhh
but the coup de grace is "mixing your own because its super cheap and easy in these 20 pages of steps"... nope isn't really my thing
the icing on the cake is the "suggestion" to get a dedicated microwave for chemistry.

I much prefer smoke pot, measure, pour, mix, smoke pot, and feed.
seems much easier not so much legwork

I don't mind paying for that.
You guys that don't mind doing that stuff - bless your hearts, keep on rocking.

its not a cost issue - i just think its shit and there are better products

i disagree. cannaboost is one of the best flower enhancers and vitality boosters available. is it expensive? hell yeah and it shouldnt be. after i ran out of my last gallon of boost i switched to h&g bud xl which is pretty much the same thing but about 40 bucks a liter. the thing i do have to say for canna and their supplements is they put more than one thing in a bottle unlike companies like advanced nutrients who seperate everything and sell it individually. with boost your getting multple goodies in one formula. even H &G seperates their supplements too much, although i have great results with that line. uncle johns blend is another alternative to boost for a fraction of the cost. when it comes down to it its whatever works for you as an individual. if people dont mind paying the money to know they are getting a quality product. that said i get frustrated when i see liters with 1000$price tags. but to the point of my post, boost is not crap by any means. it works very well for what it is and is compatible with any nutrients. peace

Not the same, Canna Boost are hormones and shit, and Bloombastic is a PK Booster.

Canna Boost:

Indole-3-butyric acid, Bap-6(6-Benzylaminopurine), Triacontanol, Some B-Vitamins

Bloombastic:

Potassium Phosphate, Potassium Hydroxide, Phosphoric Acid, Iron EDTA, Phosphorus Penta oxide, Clay mineral.

your right, forgot canna has a seperat pk 13/14.. clears that up. thanks. so clearly they are not the same, but, it has more than just your typical pk booster right? their site says " The bloombastic formula is comprised of two very different sciences. Bloombastic is a highly concentrated pure mineral Pk boost as well as a cutting edge plant metabolic booster"

http://www.bloombastic.com/faq

what would be the metobolic booster that doesnt come from mineral salts? fulvic acid maybe?

i know that nute companies dont put everything on the label (frustrating) because of regulations (at least in cali). for example take fulvic acid. they can sell it all day long but they cant sell it as fulvic acid. thats why fulvic acids blends arent labeled as such. i would be surprised if there wasnt something extra unlabled in there. both products probably have secret formulas so you cant just make your own at a fraction of the cost.i will say although its a bit watered down ive gotten great results when ive used the canna line and canna boost is great for what it is. a vitality booster. blows stuff like liquid karma away. is it worth the money? thats a matter of perspective and since i rarely run canna i wont get into it.

off subject i know but can anyone list all the ingredients to g.h's florilicous plus. seems too be in the same category as boost and is much more concentrated. here is what the site says but there arent any ingredients listed: "Here is what to expect when you add Floralicious Plus:

Enhanced metabolic growth
Higher yield weight
Increased flower development
Beneficial microbal activity in the root zone
Increased essential oil production

im guessing its got humic and fulvic acids, kelp and maybe some amino acids. thats one thing im really learning the importance of... L- amino acids.. thanks everyone

Although there are many substitutes, your choice will always vary depending upon your expectations from the yield. If you want to get high yields at the cost of high quality or vice versa, you can continue with Bloombastic or even continue with canna wood.

But if you want to get quality and quantity in absolute balance, Golden Tree is an all-in-one nutrient stabilizer. Where the price allows you to give it a try without thinking much, the results will simply make you repeat it!

G`day Mike

Wow ! What a helpful guy you are !

Fckin Shill ...

Thanks for sharin

Growmore's version of "Stealth Triacontanol" is found in their Jumpstart "plant tonic".

"Jump Start Helps plants thrive*Vitamins & Minerals* Super Concentrate* Accelerates Leaf, Stem and Root Growth Commercial Plant Growers Analysis Total Nitrogen (N) 0.10% 0.10% Water Soluble Organic Nitrogen Iron (Fe) 0.10% Copper (Cu) 0.02% Zinc (Zn) 0.05% Manganese (Mn) 0.05% Vitamin B complex B-1, B-2, B-3, B-5 & B-6, 17mg/ltr Amino Acids 1.7% Jump Start, a biological plant stimulator is designed to activate plant cell proliferation by utilizing the Rhizosphere microorganism pathway-mineral nutrient supply can strongly affect root growth morphology, distribution of root system and rhizosphere microorganism. -The unique combination of amino acids, micronutrient, vitamins and growth factors in the Jump Start formula can be used as seed treatment, soil application or foliar application. It has been known that certain bacteria can stimulate root growth considerably by production of Phytohormones. The effects of the unique combination of nutrients in Jump Start stimulate rhizosphere bacteria population, in turn enhancing root growth and improving nutrient acquisition. Jump Start can be used as seed treatment, young plant starter and soil application. Benefits of Stimulating Rhizosphere Micro Flora and Photo Hormone Production -Promotes division and leaf expansion while slowing leaf aging -Stimulates cell division and elongation in leaves and stems -Stimulates root formation and development and increases cell elongation. Micronutrient Benefits -Copper activates several enzyme systems and is essential for cell wall formation and protein synthesis. -Iron enhances oxygen transport within plants and is critical for chlorophyll formation. -Manganese increases nitrogen metabolism and carbohydrate utilization and improves nitrogen fixation. -Zinc increases root growth, cell division and cell elongation. Directions (Shake Before Using) "

Derived from Kelp, Barley, Alfalfa, Mushroom Compost, Bat Guano, Thiamine, Ascorbic Acid, Iron and Zinc mineral, EDTA Amino Acid.

Some cultivators compare Jumpstart to Super Thrive/Hormex due to the similar vitamins and hormones...which makes the Triacontanol in Jumpstart "free"...lol.

The routine I have been using (and I saw no degradation in quality/quantity compared to using 100% Canna Boost--both soil & foliar)....is to use Jumpstart as both foliar feeding (1.25ml/gallon) and soil feeding (5ml/gallon) for plants in vegetative mode. For flowering plants I continue Jumpstart at 5ml/gallon for soil feeding but use Canna Boost at 10-15ml/gallon as my foliar spray. Compared to Jumpstart, Canna Boost is much cleaner--mostly algae, and is probably a better product to spray on flowering plants.

The best foliar sprayer I have ever used is a "low velocity, low pressure" paint sprayer connected to air compressor (25 PSI). I can spray 16-20 flowering plants with less than 24 oz of spray solution....with very little waste/over spray. Compared to the hand pump sprayers--I would need at least a gallon or so.

So...I now use two Canna products (Rhizotonic & Boost); both strictly as a foliar spray...never for soil feeding.
