no classic cfl burn would have to be very much closer than what it is and not to mention not the tips would be like that hints of that would be looking at the newer gtrowths the newer growths are coming out like the way the underseto f leaves did

i forgot to mention it should start to recover in about a few days since you foliar feed
now for the damaged growth it wont recover much but the newer growth will come out normal

those are better pics it looks a little more perkier at least

i forgot to mention too maybe you should flush that soil out a bit with some tap water

it help flush out any build up of additives from the water cooler water

Stitch you are just giving me the warm and fuzzies with how helpful and nice you are :) I really appreciate it. What do I do exactly when flushing...drench the soil? Will this cause symptoms of over watering? The damaged leaves will never recover but the new gross will go back to normal? Should I cut the dead/dying leaves or is that too stressful. Sorry for all the questions but I am real new to this whole game :)

Just wanted to say just to be on the safe side add 2 tsps of epsom salts to a gallon of water and foliar spray or water as usual. 1/4 tsp isnt enough to reverse damage. I would try a foliar spray and see if you see any indication that the plant is responding. You dont have to worry your plants are getting too much mg, that rarely happens, but nute lockout often will deny plants needed nutes. Your ph for water or nute/water should be in 6.5 range. This makes all nutrients available to your plants. Using distilled water is preferable to tap or fountain water. Good Luck.

aww shucks ;)
naa the dead part will die off so just let nature do its thing :)
no problems with the questions thats what im here for
yes the newer growths will be normal

ya when you flush you water with a lot of water
it all depends on the size of the pot
if you use 5 gallons you would use around 8 to 10 gallons of water

since you have a small pot i would stop watering with about a 1/2 gallon of water
i would wait untill the soil is dry to flush in this case since the plant is small

i would also keep a fan near it to help dry the soil out a bit faster after the flush

It may not be light or heat but something is localizing its effect to certain areas on the leaf. Not the whole leaf or all the new parts just certain parts of certain leaves which to me doesnt point to anything nute based as the root of the problem. Im not really sure at this point I would rule out some sort of light burn since I dont even have a clear idea on what sort of cfl bulb is being used or how close its being used [ was used] to those leaves.

i have actually had regular floros burn my plants if gotten too close to the ends. i still think it looks like burn especially as localized as it is. do you have a fan on it? the only other thing ive seen cause that really is too low humidity!

Well whatever it is/was the new growth is coming out undamaged. The cfl was an inch above the top leaves. My 400w just came this morning! Time to get my little flower cab up and going.

Right now I have it under a 400w mh along with a couple others and they are about 12-14 inches below the light depending on heights. No pics right now but they are all doing great. I decided to try and start lsting the biggest one and it is looking good. Well heres one shot but its from yesterday.
