Canniwhatsis: "Big Band"? BigBudxHeadband? Could be interesting I gotta pop some of my "BeachWreck" seeds, (TrainwreckxMaui)
that would be a crazy pair of parents for the big band! would be something id want to grow but its not the parents. i got the info for it along with the picture they have for it. That "BEACHWRECK" sounds like its gonna be some killer shit! Cant wait to see those bad girls in flower. you always got some of the crazyest strains! But thanks for checking in man :thank you:

Marijuana Seeds Information
When you launch a new variety for a superproduction you can never forget the taste (the growers always complain about it). Originally Big Band was created with this aim and now, thanks to the new mixing of the old variety with the K (male Indica) we obtain a unique hybrid with an impressive taste and a generous production.

As result, the mix provides a hybrid with a powerful growing, but with its own flavour. Having a drag is like eating a fruit salad, a wave of acid fruit taste that will flood your mouth.

With approximately 53 days of blooming, you have no problems with the rain and the sybarites will have a mother plant throughout the year with cuttings every three weeks.

Even if it's prepared specifically for a superproduction, it has a great variety taste. If you have a vaporizer you can enjoy some aromatic blends that you will probably try to chew and the high makes you very creative. Big Band needs your patience and is very graceful give it a few more days of growing because it has short stemmed variety.

It is perfect to share with your friends for a funny and laughing party.

Height: Medium
Indoor flowering time: 8-9 weeks
Outdoor harvest timer: October
THC level: 19%
Yield: Medium-High

update 9-11-11

Good morning. Im transplanting the WHITE RHINO x G-SPOT today into a bigger pot today once im out of work. the growth has slowed down and the lower leaves are yellowing so its that time. ran out of grow bags so i got a bigger pot im going to put it in but im gonna go grab about 59-60 1 galon grow bags for the SOG. The hammerhead is really picking up vigorous growth since the transplant. The side branching on her is starting to come up out of the shaded leaves. so cutting will be taken soon. Just planted the Big Band fem seed this morning. the bean already cracked and has a nice taproot coing out of it. now the waiting game continues :)

MY CLONING Method

MY CLONING Method

good evening. time to jot down a bit of stuff and update my log.

So i watered the hammerhead today with 2 gallons of water with 4 tbs B.C. BOOST, 2 tbs B.C. GROW, 2 tbs Humboldt Honey (thats the dosage combined for the 2 gallons). Also watered the White Rhino x G-Spot with 2 tbs B.C. BOOST, 1 tbs B.C. GROW, 1 tbs Humboldt Honey. Still havent transplanted the White Rhino x G-Spot but i will be doing it once i go out and get the grow bags. I did pull 3 cuttings off of the Purple Mikado because she was expressing some awesome phenotypes but 2-3 slouched over and shriveled up so now i got 1.

So i did take 3 cuttings off of the Hammerhead and i took some pictures along the way to show how i clone.

Pic 1. Got My Female Hammerhead, 2 jiffy cubes (did one prior to taking the pics), Cloning Gel, Sterile Razor Blade.

Pic 2. I got my newly cutting eyed out and place i place the razor blade right were the internode starts of the main stock of the plant. I make one clean cut.

Pic 3. Volia! Got myself a new clone that is a replica of her mother.

Pic 4. I skin the out side of the splice it slightly down the middle to expose the cambium layer were the roots will develop from.

Pic 5. Dipping it in the rooting hormone and letting it sit for a min or 2.

Pic 6. I placed it in my jiffy puck (rockwool ph to 5.5 and check daily) and push down lightly but firmly to hold the clone into place.

Pic 7. i cut the leaves in half to help slow down the transpiration process and focus its energy on root growth. I placed them in there humidity dome and now we wait :)

Yep i love General Hydroponics RapidRoot. I have a bottle of it and i mixed 2.5 ML per gallon before i dipped the jiffy pucks in. I Also use it during transplanting to help with the stress and during the seedling stage. i like jiffy pucks because i dont have to keep track of the ph level through out the rooting process. My clone ratio is a 50-50 with rockwool but is always a garuntee that ill get better rooting production in the jiffy cube without the cuttings getting ph burned.

im sorry, let me clarify. why do you use jiffy pucks and not rapid rooter plugs? i have found most success with the rapid rooters

C

ive asked my local hydro shop about them and they are gonna order up a bunch because they are sold out so everytime i go there there there's none in stock.

i believe you will LOVE the rapid rooters. I start all seeds in them and have great germ rates and also put all clones in them. they are one of the best used products in my garden besides the absolute essentials. keep trying to seek em out. you will love

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 18, 2011

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 18, 2011

BUDMAN: i just found some in amazon for cheap!!!! i think im gonna place a order for 2 packs of 50. Thanks for the heads up on the rapid root plugs! +REP

So all is well inside the garden of green :tiphat:. I transplanted the White Rhino x G-Spot but i had to improvise because i couldnt get down to the hydro shop and it needed it so i just cut the bottom of the cup and filled that 2 liter up with Fox Farms Ocean Forest and place her on top of the soil so now she will perk up alot and pick up growth. I watered the White Rhino x G-Spot with 2 tbs of B.C. Boost, 1 tbs B.C. Grow, and 2.5ml of GH RAPID ROOT in a gallon of water. The HammerHead is doing very well. Watered her 2 days ago with 4 tbs B.C. Boost, 2 tbs B.C. Grow, 2 tbs Humboldt Honey (this is in 2 gallons of water). She has really perked up since the watering. The clones are doing well some slightly yellowing of the lower leaves so i know root production is happening.

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 22, 2011

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 22, 2011

HighDesertJoe: Oh Hell that Hammerheads looking Great Camo
:thank you: Joe! she is really becoming a nice GEM. For sure gonna be keeping her around for a bit. She has some nice Fat INDICA leaves and is starting to have a skunky/fuel smell to her. I gotta get some stuff to make a D.I.Y. Carbon filter some time soon.

budman678: looking great my friend...excited about this one
Thanks again for peeking in and taking a look :tiphat: The hammerhead is a strain ive been always stumbling upon and now is the time to shine! She's gonna be a killer strain with LOTS of medical quality to her.

Update.

The Hammerhead was having MG deficiency from the 5 gallon buckets of water i let stand out. I added a 1 TBS of CAL-MAG PLUS in with 2 TBS B.C. BOOST, 1 TBS B.C. Grow per gallon. She is really perking up since the watering. She has me at her looks and those fatty indica leaves always gets me excited for harvest. I have cut 6 cuttings off of her for the SOG.

WHITE RHINO x G-SPOT
yesterday i was just inspecting her closely and i noticed some signs of pre sex and i see the ball but not sure if its gonna be a male or female. No sign of pistils coming out of it yet.... GOT MY FINGER CROSSED for female. I ended up planting her in a 3 gallon pot instead of the 2 liter bottle. It has really perked up since the transplant.

SOG
I got one of the areas preped and marked out for the 2 liter bottles that i will be using as pots. I will be lining them up 5 wide a 4 long so a total of 20 plants for 2 square feet. The Clones are doin well. doing a bit of experimentation with the cloning. I have seen people cut and place right into soil with a humidity dome so im trying the same thing with a few of them and some in a humidity dome in a jiffy puck and see which ones root faster. Something to do to pass time :)

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 28, 2011

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 28, 2011

LAION: Looking good camo!
Thanks for stopping by my closet of dank! Got some good shit about to go down in the garden.

Update

CLONES:
So 4 out of the 6 hammerheads have rooted and planted. 2 of the 4 are in 2 liter bottles and 2 are in 16oz cups and then will be transplanted before the 12/12 flip. Got 9 cuttings prepped for fest this weekend. I have built a small clone vegging area. The newly cut cuttings are in a big zip lock bag in there also. TOTAL AMOUNT OF CLONES CUT AND/OR ROOTED is 10 (not including ones for fest)

HAMMERHEAD:
Doin very well. Im at some point this week gonna top her and keep her at a foot tall. Shes loving being cloned up and is producing new cutting sites quite fast. Got some nice fat indica leaves and over all structure of her i am quite fond of. Gonna keep her around for a while.

WHITE RHINO x G-SPOT:
So this is were im at with this one. is starting to show signs of pre sex slowly but surely and im almost 95% positive its male but still a slight amount of denial that its not. i have it on 12/12 just to make a def call on weather its male or female. Other then that its doing very well since the transplant. Since it is a mutant with 3 sets of leaves coming out of 1 top with no training or topping done has a nice structure to it. nice and even internode growth all the way around. Leaf structure is very defined. If male pollen will be collected and store till the other wr x gs are sprouted and flowered and gonna pollinate to get back stock.

OTHER STUFF:
Put together a clone veg area with 6 26w CFLS in there. Once the clones are vegged and time for the 12/12 flip i will be placing them in the tent on there measured squares for the SOG. Big Band didnt make it so for that loss im gonna start up either ACE OF SPADES or some more wr x gs or both ;)

just started germinating some ACE OF SPADES. heres the description

This is another hybrid that combines lemon and berry in order to have that sweet and sour taste I like so much. Ace of Spades is also a very large variety with hearty thick heavy flowers. They outer leaves are a vibrant purple to blue with hints of coloring throughout. Many variations are extremely colorful with traces of pink and magenta. The smoke is smooth and soft on the throat with a slight berry and sandlewood flavor. The lemonene is understated but still present. The high comes on fast and strong and is very upbeat almost giddy. The Indica Influence is felt later in the trip and ransferes into an overall body stone.
Very powerful medicine

1. Phenotypes - Line is very similar
2. Height- Medium height with good stockiness
3. Yield- Large
4. Indoor/ Outdoor
5. Best way to grow- Untopped Perfect for sog but top for height control
6. Harvest 8 weeks
7. Sativa/ Indica 30/70
8. Hybrid- (Black Cherry Soda UNK)xPluton X Purple Haze X Lambsbread X NL X Jack Herer X Romulan X Cindy99BCGA
9. High type- Strong and hard hitting with fast onset of laughter. Reminds me of some of the first times I got high when I was younger.
10. Taste/ Smell Like: Skunk, Berry, Sandlewood, Dr Zoggs Blue Sex Wax, Head shops,Lemon

Update October 4, 2011

Update October 4, 2011

CLONES:
So 2 are into flower and i got 6 in veg and 1 in the humidity bag. she will be ready for a transplant in 1-2 days (one in the humidity dome). Fed them 2 tbs B.C. Boost, 1 Tbs B.C. Grow, 1/2 tsp Rapid Root, 1/2 tsp Thrive Alive B-1 Green Bottle. There in 16 oz cups for the veg period. There is one clone i am going to keep as a mother. It will be easier for me to control the height of her and keep it bonsai.

HAMMERHEAD:
Shes is 5 days into flower. I switched to 12/12 for the sexing of the white rhino x g-spot to figure out the sex. She is starting to get a nice little crown on the top so the budding begins. Before i switch to 12/12 i flushed with GH FLORA KLEEN 2 TBS. Next watering will be in 2-3 days and i will get her with bloom nutrients. Flowering takes 55-60 days for this strain so harvest will be here in no time. I have decided to flower her because i want to harvest her while keeping a clone as a mother.

WHITE RHINO x G-SPOT:
IT'S A MALE! 100% sure. since 12/12 has been done it has showed its nuts which im not to upset about beacause im going to harvest the pollen and store it. Going to keep him in 12/12 for another 1-2 weeks untill i have enough sacks to cut and harvest.

ACE OF SPADES:
Planted in a jiffy puck and it has sprouted up as a little seedling. Welcome to the garden :tiphat:

OTHER:
I plan on making some F1's with the white rhino x g-spot pollen on a hammerhead female. Not going to open pollinate just going to brush it on. See what i get from that mix. Like the over all structure of the white rhino x g-spot. Going to save the pollen to also pollinate the other wr x gs if its female for stock.
